Heat Results
Heat 01: Lawson, Fricke, Bewley, Blödorn 1-5
Line Up: R/R - Bewley, Blödorn, Fricke, Lawson
Comments: Leicester in 1&3. FTG. Fricke blocked any efforts by Bewley, who didn't leave the white line until last couple of bends, but there's nothing there (yet).
Supported by Maitland Travel www.maitlandtravel.co.uk - providers of Speedway Holidays and bespoke travel all over the world
Heat 02: Bailey, C.Cook. Mountain, Killeen 4-2, 5-7
Line Up: Mountain, Bailey, C.Cook ⚠️, Killeen
Comments: STOPPED: C.Cook moving - receives a warning - all4back.
Restart: Mountain away on the opening bends, Bailey moved to the inside from Gate 3, and sneaked under C.Cook off Bend 2. Mountain then let Bailey take the lead, but C.Cook charged under Mountain on Bends 1&2 Lap 2.
Supported by Friends Of Steve Casey - Always An Ace
Heat 03: Lidsey, B.Cook, Masters, Becker 5-1, 10-8
Line Up: Lidsey, B.Cook, Masters, Becker
Comments: Lidsey drove all the way around Bends 1&2 mid-track off Gate 4 and was gone. Masters rode three solid laps to block B.Cook, who clearly had more speed, but the younger Aussie found a line on the outside of Bend 2, Lap 4, and passed him down the back straight, dominating th third bend to secure second.

Heat 04: Bewley, Douglas, Bailey, C.Cook 4-2, 14-10
Line Up: Bewley, Bailey, Douglas,Killeen C.Cook
Comments: Reserve switch by the Lions. Douglas held a good line on the opening bends to thwart Bewley, but had no answer a lap later when Bewley repeated B.Cook's outside move off Bend 2 to storm into the lead. In the meantime, Bailey came under C.Cook off Bend 4 Lap 3 - it wasn't clear on camera, but C.Cook for some reason decided to take a wider line.

Track grading and watering + advert break - although on the Discovery+ app I'm not getting adverts, and I'm now seeing highlights of the opening four heats from Brum Vs KL, with Dave Rowe's excellent commentary.
Heat 05: Fricke, Lidsey, B.Cook, Lawson 3-3, 17-13
Line Up: Lidsey, B.Cook, Fricke, Lawson
Comments: Lidsey quickest away, but Fricke held a strong outside line and won an excellent battle with Lidsey around Bends 3&4.
Supported by Rails of Sheffield
Nicholls interview with Fricke: Trying to share information, although he confirmed what works for him doesn't necessarily work for someone else, because of different engines, etc. He's got a different engine to see how it goes - it'll give him a bit of an idea ahead of the SoN.
Heat 06: Douglas, Blödorn, B.Cook. C.Cook 3-3, 20-16
Line Up: R/R - B.Cook, Blödorn, Douglas, C.Cook
Comments: Douglas away from Gate 1, and drifted wide, but Blödorn chased on the outside down the backstraight, and it looked like the German would make the outside line work on Bends 3&4 - however, Douglas found a great line on the inside of Bend 1, Lap2, and then drifted wide to block Blödorn and go on to take the win.

Heat 07: Bewley, Masters, Becker, Mountain 3-3, 23-19
Line Up: Bewley, Mountain, Masters, Becker
Comments: Well! That looked like a superb ride by Masters as he went for the outside line and held off Bewley for all four laps - except ... Bewley somehow found the drive off the inside of Bend 4 to snatch victory on the line!
Supported by Fina Watson Art finawatsonart.com
Abi Stephens talking to Dan Bewley: I left that move to the last, just not getting off the starts! All good now after Malilla.

Comments: Gardening aplenty. Super start by Killeen, and Lawson cut between the Aces off Bend 2, but was then nearly swallowed up by both of them. Blödorn cut to the inside on Bends 3&4 to get under Killeen, and Lawson was able to join his young teammate to share the spoils.

Scott Nicholls with Stewart Dickson - basically he sounded a bit like the Scottish footy manager
Heat 10: Fricke, Blödorn, Lidsey, Masters 3-3, 34-26
Line Up: R/R - Lidsey, Blödorn, Masters,Becker Fricke
Comments: Fricke as a T/S. Fricek held Lidsey really wide on Bends 1 & 2, and Blödorn gets away. Fricke then challenges Blödorn inside Bend 2, Lap 2 and had to hold back - but then switched to the outside of Bends 3&4 to pass Blödorn down the home straight. Meanwhile, Lidsey battled past Masters to negate the tactical change.

Heat 12: Masters, Lidsey, Bailey, Killeen 3-3, 39-33
Line Up: Lidsey, Bailey, Masters,C.Cook Killeen
Comments: Reserve switch by the Lions. Super ride by Masters to hold off Lidsey's challenges for the first lap or so - Masters making good use of the outside line. Killeen kept trying the inside line on Bailey for the first couple of laps, but couldn't make it work.
Supported by Speedway Fantasy League - www.fantasyspeedway.co.uk
Heat 13: Bewley, Fricke, Blödorn, Douglas 4-2, 43-35
Line Up: R/R - Blödorn, Bewley, Fricke, Douglas
Comments: Wow! Fricke held BEwley so wide on Bend 2 that Bewley almost had to get off his bike! Fricke looked like he was away, but Blödorn crept through on the inside. Fricke then chased Blödorn for a couple of laps and came across Blödorn into Bend 3 Lap 3, but Bewley was having none of it and flew around the outside on the final bend, and according to the transponder pipped Fricke by 0.003!

Heat 14: B.Cook, Becker, Killeen, Bailey 3-3, 46-38
Line Up: B.Cook,Mountain Bailey, Becker, Killeen

The usual break before the final heat, with more updates from Brum Vs KL.
Heat 15: Fricke, Bewley, Masters, Lidsey 2-4, 48-42
Line-up: Lidsey, Bewley, Fricke, Masters
Comments: Aces of Gates 1&3. Another Wow! Fricke away, and Masters cut between the Access off Bend 2, but Lidsey held a strong line in second place and amazingly, off Bend 4, Bewley then cut back to come under all three to take the lead going into Bend 1! Fricke though was able to ride the stronger line off Bend 2 Lap2 to get ahead of Bewley and go away for the win.
