Heat Results
Heat 01: Lawson, Rowe, Harris, Fricke 3-3
Line Up: Harris, Rowe, Fricke, Lawson
Comments: STOPPED: Lawson moving, Rowe twitched - both of them warned ⚠️
Re-start: Lions quickly away, but Fricke went wide on B2 and Rowe came underneath, followed by Harris down the back straight. Fricke didn't look as though he could turn entering B3, and drifted further back. Eventually got his act together and made up ground, but never close enough to challenge Harris.

Heat 02: Cook, Kerr, Lambert, James 3-3, 6-6
Line Up: Lambert, Kerr, Cook, James
Comments: FTG.
Supported by Friends Of Steve Casey - Always An Ace
Heat 03: Masters, Blodorn, Backer, Iversen 2-4, 8-10
Line Up: Iversen, Blodorn, Masters, Becker
Comments: Very tight first lap. Iversen outside Masters of B2, with Blodorn challenging on the inside, makes Masters move wide, and Iversen is squeezed out - clonking the fence! - and fell to the back - eventually a long way adrift. Masters kept winding it on round the outside B3/4 and saw off Blodorn.
Supported by andout www.canadianspeedway.com
Heat 04: Douglas, Kvech. Cook, Kerr 2-4, 10-14
Line Up: Kvech, Kerr, Douglas,James Cook
Comments: Reserve switch by the Lions. STOPPED: Kerr moved at the start, receives a warning ⚠️.
Re-start: Super-quick start by the Lions, and Kvech had to work really hard on the outside of the first lap, getting past Cook down the back straight. Douglas made a couple of errors, which allowed Kvech to challenge, but Douglas held him off inside and out. Kerr put pressure on Cook, and was less then a bike's length behind on the line.

Track grading.
Heat 05: Iversen, Fricke, Lawson, Blodorn 3-3, 13-17
Line Up: Iversen, Blodorn, Fricke, Lawson
Comments: FTG. Iversen crossed the line as Fricke was coming off the fourth bend. You get the impression that now Leicester are ahead, they will be happy to settle for shared heats as necessary.
Supported by Rails of Sheffield
Heat 06: (Rerun) Harris, Douglas, Rowe, James (FX) 4-2, 17-19
Line Up: Harris, Rowe, Douglas,Cook James
Comments: Reserve switch by the Lions. STOPPED: Douglas away like the veritable rat out of an aqueduct. James was on the outside going into B3, with Harris turning hard inside him, and James slid off into the air fence. Walking back with a smile on his face, and a wave to the crowd. James excluded.
Rerun: Douglas fast away, and Harris looked adrift at the back. Harris passed Rowe on the outside off B2, L2, and then set after Douglas, launching around the outside of Douglas on B3/4 Lap 3, to take the lead.

Comments: STOPPED: Masters moving, just avoided touching the tapes - receives a warning ⚠️.
