Comments:
Quick change of plan, Fozzie has had an internet crash and your lumbered with me now.
Georgie Thompson is live from trackside and looks a lot better than Keith Huewen, while shes joined by Chris Louis and Sam 'Buddy' Ermolenko.
Tai being interviewed by Sudden Sam, Tai says he will give 110% which is crap and impossible as u can only give 100%, but hes young bless him
Reason that Russia have only got 4 riders is because Sergai Darkin was announced to be in the team but isnt actually in there line up and they havent got a replacement (figure that out)
Mr Darkin is stuck on a ferry and isnt likely to make it to the track, so Russia will use no rider in heat 2, and i assume tactical subs for the rest of his rides.
Heat 01: Richardson gated 2nd and was then passed by everyone straight away and finished a mile behind, Davidsson close to Gollob at the end.
Least GB will get a point in heat 2 (i hope)
Heat 02: Awesome racing Jonsson pushed Jagus really wide on bend 3, Tai passed Jagus and then Jagus repassed really close between those 2 throughout, Good effort by Tai.
Heat 03: Ljung made worst start in history but nearly got 2nd off bend 2.
Heat 04: Race stopped Gafurov caught Kennetts front wheel, hes limping as well which isnt a good sign. I assume Gafurov must be excluded, yep he is. Kennett holding his wrist as well, they just showed Richardson and Woffinden who was watching it, Tai showed great concern by smiling and putting his thumb up to the camera lol, such team spirit lmao.
Scott said that Eddie is ok just aggrevated his shoulder.
Heat 04: Re-run: Lindgren passed Walasek back straight lap 2, and Kennett passed Walasek on last lap, good stuff.
Heat 05: Pretty decent race, Laguta passed Nermark round the outside on the last lap. Easy win for Nicholls at the end.
Heat 06: From gate Richardson well beaten then got really lucky as Nermark hit the fence on last lap and his bike seemed to stop. His cut out came out.
Lol Sam tried to interview Walasek who really struggled with english and looked really embarrassed poor lad.
Heat 07: Woffinden last away and then roared round the outside passed everyone and won by a mile, incredible. Davidsson passed Hampel on last 2 bends.
Heat 08: Great first bend by Harris, Jonsson passed a very wide Gollob on bend 3. Well spread out at the end.
Just starting to rain.
Heat 09: Kennett fell on a tight first bend, he is excluded from the re-run.
Re-run: Good race between Jagus and Gizatullin a few passes, the russian fell on last lap but remounted for his 1pt.
Heat 10: Ivanov replaces Darkin
Heat 10: Good first couple of laps between top 3, all over each other.
I get the feeling the Poles will go on and win this meeting now quite easily. The biggest battle will be for 2nd. I doubt anyone deep down would've picked the Poles do so well on a track like Vojens tho.
Heat 11: Richardson gated and led for 2 laps, but was then easily swallowed up.
Heat 12: Bizarre race Woffinden actually flew past Walasek into the lead on lap 1 and then everyone seemed to pass everyone
Heat 13: Harris missed start and passed everyone and then Lindgren got by Harris all on lap 1, then on lap 3-4 Harris and Hampel passed and re-passed.
Heat 14: Gafurov for Darkin
Heat 14: Gollob world class 3rd to 1st in 1 lap, Nermark got a flyer and was quite a way ahead, awesome race between the 2 with Nermark then passing Gollob on the run in to the line, Great Speedway.
Heat 15: Nicholls on a joker off the unfavoured gate 1.
Poor move by Lynch who said he wanted it to use it on a better gate (THEN WHY BLOODY DO IT THEN), Nicholls well and truly thrashed.
Im guessing its Interval time now.
Heat 16: Harris replaces Richardson
Riders struggling with track as rain continues to fall.
Haha Ljung interviewed and he said F*ck knows what i been doing haha.
Heat 17: Not a lot happened in this one.
Cant see anyway back now for Team GB.
Heat 18: Harris got Gafurov on the line, good race, Amazing first bend Nermark flew into 2nd locked up and Harris nearly hit him that allowed Gafurov to pass them. Good stuff.
Nigel Pearson wanted to know what was going through Lee Richardson's mind, my bet is 'Why am i so crap'
Heat 19: Laguta awesome in this one, Kennett miles behind.
Heat 20: Nicholls gated but Jonsson flew past him, Walasek tried on lap 1 but then got pushed out wide.
Heat 21: Richardson fell off cause of Laguta going crazy into bend 3, Laguta obviously out, lucky really cause Rico wouldve finished last.
Re-run: Richardson miles behind again. on the run to the line virtually seemed a dead heat between Lindgren and Jagus.
Heat 22: Holta packed up at end of lap 2 while in 3rd, Nermark and Woffinden passed each other twice on lap 1, Good early battle between Premier league big guns.
Rain seems a lot heavier now. but dosent seem to affect the track that much.
Heat 23: Laguta and Walasek both playing Jokers.
Laguta went from 3rd to 1st he is awesome, Harris at the back.
Team GB out.
Heat 24: Woffinden replaces Kennett.
Jonsson rode excellent to pass Hampel on lap 3, then Hampel passed him again on last bend, what a race.
Heat 25: From gate.
Many thanks to everyone who joined me, the best 2 teams went through by far, Cant wait til Saturday it should be awesome.
