From the gate. A piece of Pisczc for Brum. Compton was a mile behind from the first bend and Joel dropped off the pace after a lap. Good move by Machin to choose Wilson over Leagult for the Tigers in 2008 (Texters comment)

Cockle replaces Herne
Fantastic speedway! Cooper went around the lot on bend 2, but Cockle went uner Cooper on bend 3. Cooper then repassed on bend 4 bend before Cockle passed again on bend 1/lap 2. meanwhile, Roberts was all over Powell, but clipped the fence and bend 4/lap 2 after going to far out. He did well to clear the track.

Race of the season!! Wilson and Piscz passed and repassed as did Hughes and Roberts. Squall is in shock at one of the best races he has ever seen. Then he came up with a comment I'd rather not repeat!!

Compton and Lyons shoulder to shoulder on the first lap. Lyons made a fantastic inside pass on bend 2/lap 2. Compton never gave up, giving it everything.
Cockle and Powell passed and repassed a couple of times, but Squall was too busy watching the race up front to see exactly what was going on

Heat 15:
All four riders hit bend 3 together. Wilson spun around 180 degrees in front of them all. Compton and Leagult smashed into the fence. Squall says it's one of the worst smashes he's ever seen. Three riders down. Horrific!!
Compton and Wilson are up and walking back to the pits. Legault unfortunately in an ambulance.
The fence is totally wrecked..Wayne says they'll be a long delay and the meeting may end here!
Wilson excluded.
To top it all the track staff were whacking a piece of wood into the fence when the hammer broke!!
