Stopped; Halsey taken very wide at start and lost ground. Makovsky did us (Rye) a favour a lap later and showed his partner the quickest way into the 2nd bend fence. Aarnio excluded from the re-run
Re-Run; Halsey did the same again. Neath had a tough 1st bend, but muscled Makovsky out of the way.

Stopped: Aarnio gave Mear a nudge and sent him crashing into Ekberg on back straight. Mear unbelievably excluded. Both Rockets down injured. (see below)
Makovsky gave Ekberg a nudge on 1st bend, Ekberg passed Aarnio, but couldn't get close to Makovsky due to his shoulder injury.
