Burchatt passed Bowen on 4th bend lap 1. Neath gave up 2nd lap when well last. Nermark won very easily in the second fastest time this year.

Mear won easily. Branney passed Halsey on the last lap. Track very dusty and watering is now taking place although they are only watering the outside and the camber!.

Fantastic race between Mear, Burchatt and Nermark. Mear made up ground, fighting Nermark off all the time before cutting back inside Burchatt on the last bend.

Massive crash on bend 1 lap 2. Nermark totally took Halsey out when trying to pass him on the inside. Both riders went under the fence but thankfully are both up and ok. Burchatt was leading at the time and Nermark has been excluded from the re-run. Fantastic race between Halsey and Burchatt. Pass, repass, repass and repass. Burchatt waited by gate to congratulate Halsey and rightly so.

Track was watered earlier but is now as dry as Ronnie Russells pate.
A minutes silence for Tim Stone impeccably observed.
Slight delay to the start of the meeting due to the Ambulance being late.
Workington won the toss and will go off gates 1&3 in heat 1.
Crowd now getting restless as Ambulance still hasn't turned up.
Ambulances arrives at 2.55pm and the crowd go wild.
Heat 03: Ekberg takes the R/R. Shadders says Rockets management must be worried as he is usually saved until heat 14.
Heat 05: Mear takes the R/R.
Heat 08: Haines replaces Branney.
Heat 09: Mear once again takes the R/R.
Heat 13: Branney r/r for Nermark.
Heat 14: Haines replaces Wright and Mear once again takes the R/R though texter would have given Studwick a go.
