Comments: Race won from the gate, although a good first bend by Dingle to ensure he was in front of the Saints entering backstraight. Tyer fell 1st bend of 2nd lap when at the back.

Heat 03: Bekker, Starke, Hughes, Howarth 3-3; 13-5, 51.96
Line Up: Hughes, Starke, Howarth, Bekker
Comments: Bekker from the gate. Hughes pushed out and hit the fence on 1st turn, however somehow managed to stay on his bike. Saints on a 5-1 after first turn. Starke then passed Howarth on second lap before Howarth then fell on the 4th bend of 3rd lap when under pressure from Hughes. Howarth remounted to come in last.

Comments: Dingle fell and re-mounted on 3rd bend of 3rd lap when chasing Morris. Race won from the gate.

Line Up: Hughes, Starke, R/R, Wrathall
Comments: Bekker is r/r for the Saints. Even break from the tapes but Hughes comes out of 2nd bend in front and goes away from the rest to win by about a quarter of a lap. Starke all over Bekker who did well to hold on for second. Wrathall clipped the 1st bend fence on lap 3 when at the back.

Comments: Simmonds and Richardson lock up on 1st turn and both fall. Both up and ok and there will be a re-run with all 4 back. Re-run won from the gate, although Bates was very close to Richardson going over the finish line. Tyer fell and re-mounted when at the back on 4th bend of 1st lap.

Comments: There will be a re-run with all 4 back after Wrathall jumps the start. In re-run Wrathall gates like a rocket. Morris fell when at the back on 4th bend of 1st lap, he got up and cleared the track well but was holding his ankle. Hopefully he's ok.

Comments: Richardson takes a tactial ride for the Saints. Richardson rode Hughes into Cornwall on first turn but left a big gap for Starke to ride into. Hughes all over Richardson but couldn't find a way past. Tyer fell and re-mounted when at the back.

Comments: Bekker jumped the start so all 4 back. In re-run Bekker made the gate but had both Devils all over him. Simmonds then went round Bekker on 4th bend of lap 2. Bates then all over him but the Scunny rider just held on for 2nd.

Comments: Devils won the toss and take 1 and 3. Devils gated and were away at the front. Wrathall miles behind at the back.
Special mention to David Gough who Craneman thinks performed the best he has seen him in Devils colours and young Josh Dingle looks to be improving with every race which is good to see. Also a mention to the young Saints team who never gave up and battled hard to the end.
