Heat Results
Heat 01: Wright, Holder, Ward, Andersen. 3-3, 3-3
Line Up: Holder, Ward, Andersen, Wright
Comments: Wright made a surprise gate, Andersen pushed out and at the back from the 1st bend, Andersen almost took Holder off coming off bend 4 at one stage. KT says the track is looking dusty already lol
Sponsored by www.enjaydesigns.net
Heat 02: Madsen, Mroczka, Lawson, Ashworth. 5-1, 8-4
Line Up: Madsen, Mroczka, Lawson, Ashworth
Comments: Madsen made a gate and hit the front from the first bend really, Lawson was pushing all the way and briefly held 2nd before Mroczka got past him, Lawson to his credit never gave up and made Mroczka very honest. Mroczka looked like he was moving slightly though at the start.

Heat 03:
Line Up: Pedersen, Doyle, Hougaard, R/R - Wright
Comments: Belle Vue R/R - James Wright
Stopped; Doyle went down on bends 1+2 in between them both, seem to get a tap from Hougaard, defo stayed down though
DQ'd - Jason Doyle. He defo got a tap from Hougaard but also stayed down waiting for the ref to stop it as well. Neil Middleditch doesn't like the decision and says that he doesn't normally get on the phone. Well I've seen him on the phone plenty of times at Eastie
Re-Run x 1; Stopped; Hougaard made a good gate, Pedersen also made a good one and was going around Hougaard when Hougaard moved out and gave Pedersen no room or option but to come off the bike or make a visit to the air fence. Hougaard has been DQ'd from the re-run which is the correct decision imo
Chris Morton is not a happy bunny, saying that Hougaard shouldn't of been DQ'd from the heat, and for once I agree with KT (faints) that Hougaard should of gone from the heat
Re-Run x 2; Pedersen made a gate and that was that, Wright never put up any fight it seemed and took the 2 points, not a crushing heat against Belle Vue, but could of been better for them.

Heat 04: Watt, Karlsson, Mroczka, Ashworth. 4-2, 15-8
Line Up: Watt, Mroczka, Karlsson, Ashworth
Comments: Fantastic race. Aces gated on a 5-1 but to me it never looked comfy with Ashworth, Watt came from 4th to pass his team mate and then Ashworth, then set about chasing down PK and eventually blasted around bends 3+4 to get PK, meanwhile Mroczka chased down Ashworth and got him coming off bend 4 lap 4 to grab an advantage.
Updaters comment; It's a shame that Davey Watt felt he couldn't ride like that last season at Eastie, bah

*** ADVERT BREAK ***
Heat 05: Pedersen, Doyle, Wright, Andersen. 5-1, 20-9
Line Up: Pedersen, Doyle, Andersen, Wright
Comments: Both Pirates and Andersen gated together, Hans then lifted wildly, caught Doyle a bit as well, Andersen very nearly rode straight into the fence, the race continued and Wright tried to make an impression and force past Doyle but he couldn't make the move and the Pirates grabbed another 5-1, Just showed the replay and it was a clash of elbows that made Hans lose control, but imo he was losing it before then
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Karlsson, Ward, Holder, Lawson. 3-3, 23-12
Line Up: Holder, Ward, Karlsson, Lawson
Comments: Karlsson made the gate and the Pirates were hunting him down like a rabid dog, Karlsson rode great to hold them at bay and grab the win.
Chris Louis went to interview him in the pits and said that he went to talk to his team mates, when really he was grabbing his glasses and hat

Heat 07: Hougaard, Watt, Ashworth, Madsen. 2-4, 25-16
Line Up: Watt, Madsen, Hougaard, R/R - Ashworth
Comments: Belle Vue R/R - Ricky Ashworth.
Aces gated on a 5-1 and it was left to Watt to try and blast around the outside of the Aces again, Watt realised this wasn't going to happen and when Ashworth moved out to cover the outside move, Watt cut back and got him up the inside, then tried to catch Hougaard but wasn't going to happen, Madsen had a go at getting past Ashworth but Ashworth was having none of it

Heat 08: Mroczka, Ward, Ashworth, Wright. 5-1, 30-17
Line Up: Ward, Mroczka, Wright, Ashworth
Comments: Wright was still finishing his can of Red Bull at the start then and was 4 bike lengths back at the 1st bend, Mroczka sorted Ashworth out coming out of bend 2 and the Pirates were like a good hit from Babe Ruth 'outta there'
Sponsored by www.methanolpilot.com - dedicated to helping speedway
Heat 09: KARLSSON, Pedersen, Doyle, Lawson
Line Up: Pedersen, Doyle, KARLSSON, Lawson
Comments: Belle Vue T/R - Peter Karlsson
Lawson sent back to the pits for not wearing an all yellow helmet colour, he was wearing a yellow & black quartered one, like it really matters ffs
Karlsson made the gate, but Pedersen made a stong move down the back straight to try and get PK up the inside, but PK slammed the door shut like me with a Jehovah Witness, Pedersen continued to probe PK and eventually got past him down the back straight on the last lap, only for PK to make a move and just grab the win on the line. Erm not sure what happened to the 2 lads at the back lol.
PK said he has killed to much power on the bike now and it feels like a push bike now, only wish my push bike went that quick

Heat 10: Ward, Holder, Ashworth, Hougaard. 5-1, 38-24
Line Up: Holder, Ward, Hougaard, R/R - Ashworth
Comments: Belle Vue R/R - Ricky Ashworth
Ashworth made the gate, but just as Ward was going past Ashworth, Holder also flew past him as well, and the Pirate boys were gone

Heat 11: ANDERSEN, Watt, Madsen, Wright. 3-6, 41-30
Line Up: Watt, Madsen, ANDERSEN, Wright
Comments: Belle Vue T/R - Hans Andersen
Andersen finally made a gate and hit the front, Wright joined him for a brief spell before Watt passed him out of bend 2 and Madsen got past him out of bend 2 lap 2. Andersen not really troubled
Andersen said he is on his 2nd bike that has been prepared by Dean Barker, these 2 are quite good mates I believe now

Heat 12: Madsen, Pedersen, Ashworth, Hougaard. 5-1, 46-31
Line Up: Pedersen,Mroczka - Dq'd Madsen, Hougaard, Lawson Ashworth
Comments: Belle Vue - Ashworth for Lawson
Stopped; Mroczka moving at the start (not the 1st time tonight)
Re-Run; Stopped; Mroczka moving again at the start and has been Dq'd from the re-run. KT oesn't think it's fair, but that's at least the third time tonight that he has moved at the start. Middleditch is not happy and says it's disgraceful and says the ref says he moved, Middleditch seems at a loss for words. As Pearson says, any movement is a movement, and let's remember, there would be someone looking across his front wheel
Re-Run x 2; Pirates pair made the gate, Ashworth pushed for a few laps but then the Pirates pair pulled away. Anyone else think that Hougaard has been a massive disappointment tonight?

Heat 13: Watt, Holder, Andersen, Karlsson (EF). 5-1, 51-32
Line Up: Holder, Watt, Andersen, Karlsson
Comments: Pirates pair once again made the start and that was that really, Andersen was trying to push but there was nothing there for him to make a substantial push for 2nd, Karlsson packed up while last

Heat 14: Madsen, Doyle, Hougaard, Ashworth. 5-1, 56-33
Line Up: Doyle, Madsen, R/R - Hougaard, Ashworth

Madsen made the start and was gone, Doyle was last going into bend 1, but held the inside and was 2nd coming out of bend 2 and that was all she wrote

Heat 15:
Line-up: Holder, Pedersen, Karlsson, Andersen
Comments: Sky never showed the toss so don't know who won, but Aces off 1&3
Big chunk of dirt on the inside of the track down to the 1st turn, will be interesting for the lads on gates 1&2
Holder made the gate and was gone, Pedersen tried hard but couldn't get past Karlsson in 3rd, share of the spoils and probably not the race of the night.

Weather; Little bit of drizzle @ 6pm, but Sky say weather forecast is ok for later
Teams to be confirmed.
Normal track person is unavailable so the track is not as normal
Apparently Darcy Ward watered the track as the Pirates weren't happy with the gates, and Ward has knackered gates 1&3
It's goodnight from me, Pearson and Tatum
