Heat Results
Isle of Wight win the toss and take gates 1 & 3.
Heat 01: Simmons, Lambert, Felton, McDade 4-2, 4-2, 68.5
Comments: Cal McDade taking the R/R.
Felton reared at tapes, and is overtaken on 2nd bend, whilst Simmons outmuscles Lambert to take the lead. 2 good battles at front and back, Simmons just holding off Lambert, and Felton going past McDade on last bend, good ride.
Sponsored by www.enjaydesigns.net
Heat 02: McDade, Widman, Chessel, Hill, 1-5, 5-7, 72.7
Comments: Extra time being allowed for McDade.
Stars gate into a 5-1 lead, and stay there! Hill too fast into 3rd bend on 1st lap and slid into fence, quickly up tho. McDade certainly looked sharp after practice ride in ht 1!
Sponsored by Steve Dixon www.stevedixonphotography.co.uk [/b]
Heat 03: Warwick, Johnson, Campos, Knight, 5-1, 10-8, 68.0
Comments: Knight left at tapes with an awful gate, Campos doing not much better as the Isalnders romp away for an untroubled maximum of their own! Warwick almost half a lap clear of last place.
Texter says track record is 67.7.

Heat 04: Hopwood, Lowe, Hill, Widman, 4-2, 14-10, 70.1
Comments: Widman in for McDade.
Hopwood away to a flier, with Hill at the rear. Hopwood well clear at front, with Hill chasing Widman hard for 3rd place, before swooping up the inside of him on the 1st bend of the last lap. They tangled a little, but both stayed up, and exchanged handshakes after the race, so must've been fair!
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Warwick, Lambert, Johnson, Campos, 4-2, 18-12, 69.2
Comments: RR is Scott Campos.
Another great gate from the Islanders, but Johnson seemed to lose grip at was squeezed out on back straight by both Stars. He was close behind when Campos retired, handing the 4-2 to the I.o.W. for whom Danny Warwick was untouchable!
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Simmons, Lowe, Felton, McDade, 4-2, 22-14, 70.7
Comments: Cal McDade in for Chris Widman.
Great start from Simmons, taking the lead from the inside, before sweeping everybody else out wide, forcing McDade to throttle off. Lowe past Felton on back straight, 2nd lap, but after a few twitches, Felton held on for 3rd, Simmons clear at the front.
Sponsored by
Heat 07: Hopwood, Campos, Chessel, Knight, 4-2, 26-16, 70.8
Comments: Another fantastic start from Hopwood in Red, and Chessel held 2nd until the 1st bend, lap 2 when he slowed dramatically going into the bend, Campos doing well to avoid him and go through for 2nd place. Chessel then regained his composure to hold on to a decent 3rd place. Hopwood looked happy as he crossed the line, revving engine and fist pumping!

Heat 08: LAMBERT, Felton, McDade, Hill, 2-7, 28-23, 71.0
Comments: R/R is Lambert out on a Tactical.
Lambert away at the front (yawn) with Felton in 2nd. Hill missed out on the start, and although he flung himself into the corners, he couldn't make up the gap to McDade.
Sponsored by www.methanolpilot.com - dedicated to helping speedway
Heat 09: Warwick, Johnson, Lowe, Widman, 5-1, 33-25, 70.8
Comments: More lightning starts from the Red and Blue hats, leaving Adam Lowe a distant 3rd for an easy 5-1.
Sponsored by inthedirt clothing - inthedirt.co.uk - facebook.com/inthedirt
Heat 10: Simmons, Felton, Campos, McDade, 5-1, 38-25, 71.3
Comments: McDade in for Knight.
After being so slow from the tapes last time out, Simmons now looks to have 2 wheel drive from them as he shot off, leaving everybody in his dust. Literally. Felton a comfortable 2nd, for a 2nd consectutive 5-1!
Sponsored by
Heat 11: Lowe, Lambert, Hopwood, Chessel, 1-5, 39-30, 71.10
Comments: R/R is Adam Lowe.
Stars management trying to get Lowe on a Tactical Ride, but as Lambert took the Tac Ride in Heat 8 as a R/R, they can't do it twice!
Think Hopwood may have twitched on purpose at tapes, trying to upset Lambert, which failed spectacularly as Kings Lynn gated to a 5-1! Lowe hit the front, and Lambert covered everything hopwood threw at him.
Sponsored by
Heat 12: Warwick, Campos, Hill, Widman 4-2, 43-32, 71.2
Comments: Head down and go for it from Warwick, which worked brilliantly! Hill with a great inside pass of Widman on bend 1, lap 2, then set after Campos, but not to be.

** SHORT INTERVAL **
Heat 13: Simmons, Lowe, Hopwood, Lambert, 4-2, 47-34, 70.9
Comments: Good gate from Lowe gets him in front, as Simmons traps Lambert on the inside, before Lambert retired on back straight. Lowe well clear, but Simmons was gaining with every bend, and shot past Lowe on the line by an inch! Maximum hopes still alive!
Sponsored by Art and Stitch for all your sewing and art supplies www.artandstitch.co.uk [/b]
Heat 14: Johnson, MCDADE, Chessel, Knight, 4-4, 51-38, 71.9
Comments: McDade on a Tactical Ride!
Chessels bike has given up the ghost at the line, but saved by a spare bike from the pits!
Chessel got a absolute flyer, fairly i might add, but so did 2 of the others, so it was called back.
Re-Run: Johnson away from the tapes smartly, with McDade having to work hard to keep Chessel outside him. Knight at back in the now plentiful dust!
Sponsored by [/b]
Heat 15: Warwick, Simmons, Lambert, Lowe, 5-1, 56-39, 71.0
Line-up: Danny Warwick, Nick Simmons, Simon Lambert, Adam Lowe
Comments: Isle of Wight win the toss taking gates 1&3.
Brilliant gate from both islanders, cramping Lambert for room and keeping Lowe at the back, all at once! Lambert never too far away, and Warwick went slightly wide on the 3rd lap, bend 3, but held on for the full max, Simmons only (!) getting a paid max!
