Comments: Felton hits the tapes, replaced by Tom Hill.
Re-Run: Wright away like a rocket, before Hart came round outside of him. Simmons closely past on 4th bend, before setting after Hart. Simmons & Hill both close to getting past the respective Tigers, but with no joy.

Comments: Nick Laurence absolutely smashes the tapes, leaving 5 Laps Les to throw his hands to the gods! He's promptly excluded from rerun, so has to go from a 15m handicap.
Re-Run: Hodgson and Hill scorch from the tapes, and were nver troubled, paid win for Hodgson on Debut

Heat 03: Warwick, Jacobs, Priest, Johnson FX, 3-3, 10-8, 71.4 9
Line Up: Danny Warwick, Brendan Johnson, Luke Priest, Joe Jacobs
Comments: Very tight 1st bend, with Warwick getting the drop, and Johnson almost taking a pearler! Great sweep round outside on 4th bend to take second place from Jacobs though, who pressed hard for the rest of the race, possibly causing Johnson to come to grief, as he wiped out into the home straight! Up after a while though, and walked unaided back to pits.

Comments: Warwick away from the inside, and just moved out enough to stop Hart going round him. Johnson following in 3rd, with Wright a disappointing 4th after his 1st ride, before he ret from last.

Comments: Reserve switch for Mildenhall - Laurence in for Rayson.
Awful gate for Simmons see's him pointing at the stars, but Evans flies away. Simmons quickly into 2nd and chasing hard, but Evans just too quick, unlike Laurence, who is just too slow!

Line Up: Ben Hopwood, Danny Hodgson, Luke Priest, Joe Jacobs
Comments: Priest away quickish, and clamped Hopwood on the line. Hopwood then baulked Hodgson, who fell at the 3rd turn on his own. Hopwood set after the Tigers pair, but stuck to the inside line, and there was no way through. Hodgson remounted then retired.

Comments: Mildenhall have another reserve switch with Rayson in for Laurence. Finally a good start from the I.o.W., but Wright soon past Hill on back straight. Felton held out for the race victory, with Wright never far behind. Hill close to Wright over line.

Comments: Evans with a superb gate, was almost 3 bike lengths clear going into the first turn! And stayed there, whilst the Islanders settled into 2nd and 3rd. He finished a 1/4 lap clear.

Comments: Good gate from Felton, and Simmons just got to the bend in front of Priest to ease him over! Priest under Felton on 2nd bend, lap 2 though, with Jacobs lucky to hang on in 4th, almost running into the 2 in front! Felton seemed to slow on last lap, and was overtaken for 3rd by Jacobs.

Comments: Hart with a blinding gate, but Hopwood almost under him on 4th bend. Spread out a bit after that, until Hopwood retired on 3rd lap, leaving an almost unchallenged 5-1 for the tigers, Hodgson having a couple of moments at the back.
