A BIG 'hello' to everyone who joins me this afternoon
I'll be back about 4.30ish with all the exciting news from Keith and pals at trackside (and all the usual lies that they tell).
Several questions will be answered within the next 3+ hours.
Such as: Will Nigel Pearson survive 4 heats without screaming like a moron?
Or: Will Nigel or Kelvin survive 10 minutes without saying the words 'Very much so'?
Or: Will Charlie (If there) Manage to say more then 4 words without sounding stupid?
All will be revealed.
Just heard from Youngy in the stadium that Stacey Soloman is murdering a classic tune atm.
Keith in studio with Mark Loram and Sam Ermolenko. Keith said its the biggest sell out in speedway history, Just showed the crowd and its half empty.... Lies have started already.
Poor Stacey was just informed that Grand prix was Speedway not Formula 1 so shes going home now.
Keith said he never gets as excited as he does when he gets to Cardiff, I guess he don't get out much and I hope hes single otherwise his poor wife
Scott Nicholls just said he enjoys it here cause its in England!!!! England??? Really!!!!!?? Really?. He also said theres no pressure on him so he can show his true talent.
Keith said Scott is currently in really good form. I guess he never saw Swindon v Poole in the cup.
If your watching in 3D which i will til i get bored the commentators are Jonathan Green and Steve Johnston. Plus theres a 3D camera mounted on Chris Holder's bike for the whole evening.
Wow give Green Charlies job, he just barged in on Gollob and actually got an interview with him
They have just showed an awesome video package about Gollob and Hancock starting from 1995 showing all the highs and lows even footage of Gollob riding in the elite league for Ipswich and getting punched by Craig Boyce and his classic final against Jimmy Nilsen.
Now finally its a pretty packed crowd.
Keith Huewin picks Nicholls to make the final...
Sam and Mark (Hmm Sam and Mark ) They don't pick any brit to make the final.
Mixture of cheers and boos for Nicki Pedersen.
Woffinden got a bigger ovation then Nicholls, Harris got a bigger one tho.
Hancock got the biggest ovation outside the brits. closely followed by Gollob.
5:20pm: And its time to race.
Been 10yrs since Gollob made the final here.
Charlie asked Crump if he was gonna make changes after winning heat 1 and he said "id be stupid if i did wouldnt i?"
Chris Louis just tried to interview Gollob i say try, As i honestly couldnt understand 1 word Gollob said
Fantastic display by Greg Hancock, Well clear at top of standings (Can he actually win the world title again?) Wow.
Cheers everyone for looking in, Thanks to Islander for live tables. What a night, What a finish, Thats it for the GPs for a while. Next mega event is the World Cup. Good night all
