Comments: Race stopped - Unsatisfactory start, yellow warned to stay still 'before' the start!
Re-run: The I.o.W. make the gate the 2nd time round, but Bates makes an inside pass of a nervous looking Smethills on the 4th bend. A bit spaced out after that.

Comments: Johnson away well, forcing Herne wide on the 1st bend, with Smethills tucked into 3rd. Herne going wider and wider, trying to get past, nervy moments on the 4th bend, 3rd lap, and again on the last bend, but Brendan holds on, great race.

Comments: Chessell away really well, Simmons looking startled he was up there and almost hit him, but eased underneath going into turn 3. Chessell doing a great job of holding back Bates in 3rd, but his wide line allows Bates through, as W-Williams retires at the back.

Comments: Young makes the gate, but Resch quickly underneath him on 4th bend, scaring Young on the way past! Next up is Smith to have a go, going wide on bend 1, and giving Andrews a sniff at the back, but just misses out on the run-in to the line.

Comments: Bates moving at start, but ref let its go. Islanders 1 and 2 from the gate, and that is where they stay. Only action was W-Williams giving up at back.

Comments: Herne is on a TR. Simmons with a beaut, gating and clamping Jay Herne inside him on the white line. Chessell also started well to lead Young, whose wobbling at the back! Herne pushing hard, and almost does a wall of death on the 2nd bend, last time round, so Simmons can cruise to victory.

Comments: W-Williams creeps at the tapes, but Smethills keeps it on around the outside to lead, with Resch going under Gough on the 3rd bend, but W-Williams had already gone into the fence after going wide on the apex, causing both Newport riders to be on the deck. W-Williams excluded from Re-run, both riders up and ok.
Re-run: Another re-run, unfair tactics from the home team, inside gate didn't rise, leaving Gough almost decapitated!
Re-runx2: I.o.W. well away, Gough chasing hard, but a comfortable maximum heat advantage.

Comments: Isle of Wight off gates 1&3. Johnson away like a scalded cat, and Starke gave Herne a big nudge into the bend, but Kurtz gets past Brendan on the 4th bend, up the inside. He really has looked very quick tonight. Starke riding erratically into the bends, but holds onto 3rd for a share of the points.
