Heat 01: Armstrong, Franklin, Wrathall, Blair 5-1
Line Up: Armstrong, Franklin, Blair, Wrathall
Comments: Gate and go speedway by the Heathens. Saints pair tailed off. Franklin even had time to pull a locker for camera man last lap.

Heat 02: Re-run Richie, Nielsen 0-5 5-6
Line Up: Ritchings, Chessell, Nielsen, Richie
Comments: Chessell ef at the gate. Ritchings fell while 2nd bend 4 lap 1. Clipped by Nielsen. Ritchings excluded and is up and ok. Nielsen took a few mins and a little help to get back to his feet but is now walking away. Re-run with the 2 Saints riders.
Worrall won by half a straight. looking stylish. The texter reckons they both should have been excluded for not behind seen to be racing lol.

Heat 03: Steve, Morris, Perry, Irving 3-3 8-9
Line Up: Perry, Morris, Steve, Irving
Comments: Heathends took 2 laps to sort themselves out by which time, Worrall was well clear. Ash looked quick and closed in a fair bit but nowhere near enough to challenge.

Heat 04: Re-runx2 Armstrong, Chessell 5-0 13-9
Line Up: R/R = Armstrong, Chessell, Birks, Richie
Comments: Race Stopped Chessell gated then drift out off turn 2. Birks fell behind him when there seemed to be enough room to stay on. Bike under fence so race stopped and Birks excluded. Hes not happy but looked the right decision as they were nowhere near making contact. Armstrong had missed the gate by a mile but turned back to pass everyone by turn 3.
Worrall spun it round in a stylish 180 degree turn in the middle of bend 3/4 lap 1. Chessell did well to lay it down to avoid him. Worrall excluded. Saints fan shouldnt worry as Luke might not get round (Texter is joking by the way).

Heat 05: Morris, Perry, Blair, Wrathall 5-1 18-10
Line Up: Perry, Morris, Blair, Wrathall
Comments: From Gate. Wrathall reasonably close to Perry until lap 3 when he went square into bend 1 and did well to lay it down and avoid wiping out Perry. He got up to allow the Heathens to complete the 5-1 so gets a fair play award. Blair nowhere.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 06: Re-run Armstrong, Franklin, Nielsen fell 5-0 23-10
Line Up: Armstrong, Franklin, Birks, Nielsen
Comments: Stopped Birks having a nightmare turns himself inside out turn 1 lap 1 and lands very heavily. Fortunatley hes up as could have been a shoulder injury from that one. Nielsen took avoiding action and laid it down he is also up and ok. Birks excluded. Short brak to allow Nielsen a bit of time to work in his bike. Heathens had both made a clean start and were on a 5-1 down backstraight.
Armstrong all the way. Decent race for 2nd with Franklin pushing hard. Finally pressurized Nielsen into mistakes lap 4. Franklin through on inside bend 4. Nielsen gave it a handful on the run to the line and despite the bike lifting hard he stayed on the gas and looped it. Both he and the bike landed in a heap on the line he does NOT score a point as he was not in contact with his bike as he crossed line. Looked Heavily winded but is now up and walking back.

Heat 12: Steve, Richie, Perry, Chessell ret 1-5 39-33
Line Up: Perry, Chessell, Steve,Nielsen Richie
Comments: Perry chasing hard all the way and got close to both going into lap 3. Bit too wide and lost ground. Closed in again but a little shake of the head over the line tells its own story, Hes just a bit short of top form at the moment. Chessel ef when last.

Heat 13: Richie, Armstrong, Birks, Franklin 2-4 41-37
Line Up: Armstrong, Franklin,Blair Richie, Birks
Comments: Dreadful gate by both Heathens. Armo straight into 2nd lap 1 and got close to passing Worrall lap 2 before Worrall slowly pulled away. Franklin made a good fist of it after a shocking start and was just a bike length short of stealing odd point. Fightback continues.

Heat 14: Irving, Richie, Ritchings, Morris ret 1-5 42-42
Line Up: Morris, Ritchings, Irving, Richie
Comments: Morris ef sat start. Ritchings almost got around the outside of Saints turn 2 lap 2 but too wide bend 3/4 lap 2 and did well to avoid the fence. Closed a little on Worrall again but lost far too much groudn to ever get back on terms You could hear Pin drop as the visitors draw level with 1 to go. did the Corrie writters script this one?

Saints off 1 and 3
Heat 15: Re-run Armstrong. Morris, Irving 5-1 47-43
Line-up: Morris, Armstrong, Irving, Steve
Comments: Drama all the way. Steve jump the start and was half a bike clear before the others moved, Ref let it go. Saints on 5-1 but Armstrong chased and went of the big round the boards move passed Irving down backstraight turn turned under Worrall down homestraight. Tight going into bend 1 lap 2 and Worrall fell. Texter says there didnt look to be any contact. Worrall excluded from re-run.
Morris made flyer and was joined by Armo off turn 2 lap 1. What followed was fantastic display of shoulder to shoulder team riding Morris inside and Armstrong outside to shut out a very on the pace Irving. What a great meeting. Saints deserve full credit for their part they ve played in the meeting. Well worth a point. Best Wishes to Stefan.

Teams confirmed.
Blue Sky and Sunshine beautiful evening for speedway.
Track looks in good shape with a bit of dirt on and looking nice and evenly water.
The wind has dropped so hopefully when the sun sets the track will retain some moisture and not turn into a dust bowl.
