Heat Results
Stoke win the toss and take gates 1 and 3.
Heat 01: Pickard, Lambert, Franklin, Armstrong (Fell); 1-5 (33-67)
Line Up: Armstrong, Franklin,Lambert ,Pickard
Comments: Armstrong fell bend 4 lap 3, race awarded. Good race for 2nd. Rich passed Simon who then returned the favour. Turn 4 red flag man should be sacked for watching the whole race without the red flag in his hand. Didn't notice the red light either. Only reacted when Porkie started shouting red lights down the mic

Heat 02: Sarjeant, Stoneman, Ritchings, Reade; 3-3; 4-8 (36-70)
Line Up: Ritchings, Stoneman,Reade ,Sarjeant
Comments: Stopped. It looked like Stoneman had made a flyer. He does say that Stoke riders are lucky as both fell on bend 1. 2 mins just gone on.
Re run: Heathens made a rare flyer. Sarj passed both on the inside of laps 2 and 3. Stoneman looked faster but less control tonight. Ritchings looked slow. Reade barely finished.

Heat 03: Morris, Atkin, Isherwood, Perry (Fell); 3-3; 7-11; (39-73)
Line Up: Perry, Morris,Isherwood ,Atkin
Comments: Perry fell when leading on last turn. Atkin had gated but looked like he wanted to swap his bike for a tractor coming off turn 2 which allowed both Heathens past. Morris lead didn't look totally at ease. One big mistake let Perry through. Perry then lead round the last turn before drifting wide and clipping the fence. Hes blaming the sun!

Heat 04: Newman, Sarjeant, Stoneman, Webster (F/EX); 4-2; 11-13 (43-75)
Line Up: Newman, Stoneman,Webster ,Sarjeant
Comments: Stopped. Webster fell on his own turns 1/2. Stoneman laid it down to avoid him. Sarj and stoneman were about 3 bike lengths down the start. Kyle screwed up turn 2 to allow Sarj through. He then lead the race. Lots of riders looking uncomfortable but the track looks great. Track grading before re run.
Re run: Heathens gated on a 5-1 but stoneman far too wide turn 3/4 lap 1 and then tailed off. Appeared to shut off to shout at himself for the error twice.

Heat 05: Lambert, Pickard, Perry, Morris; 1-5; 12-18; (44-80)
Line Up: Perry, Morris,Lambert ,Pickard
Comments: Buxton 2010 all over again! Our gating is just not good enough. At least it was a good race for 3rd as Perry and Morris swapped places about 4 times. Both closed in and weren't too far behind Pickard in the end. Don't think they were even passed him on the way to the pits lol .

Heat 06: Franklin, Armstrong, Webster, Reade; 5-1; 17-19; (49-81)
Line Up: Armstrong, Franklin,Webster ,Reade
Comments: It's time to celebrate! But it was only a max because Webster nearly fell off on turns 3/4 on every lap and almost on turn 2 once for good measure. Spread out by half a lap. The race for the toilets in the next track grade will be closer.

Heat 07: Newman, Atkin, Isherwood, Ritchings (F/Ex); 3-3; 20-22; (52-84)
Line Up: Newman, Ritchings,Isherwood ,Atkin

Riders still struggling with the sun, interval to be taken now
For anyone interested I was right about the race for the toilet. I just got my elbow over the guy off the inside ;D
Heat 08: Pickard, Sarjeant, Franklin, Ritchings; 1-5; 21-27; (53-89)
Line Up: Franklin,Stoneman Ritchings,Pickard ,Sarjeant
Comments: Good race for 2nd with Franklin working the lines to put Sarj under pressure. Tight on the line. Sarj riding so hard for the flag that he full on turn 1 after the finish. Hes up and ok though.

Heat 09: Morris, Perry, Reade, Webster (F/EX); 5-1; 26-28; (58-90)
Line Up: Perry, Morris,Webster ,Reade
Comments: Webster's nightmare continues. He gated 1st but did a 270 degree turn and fell heavily. Reade laid it down but think the bike might have clipped Webster. He is up and ok though and walking back to the pits. Webster excluded. 21st just informed me that after heat 6, Webster's Heathens fan uncle said he was doubley gutted as Webster rode a stinker but he's sponsoring Franklin tonight so the heat cost him money! Lol
Re run: The Heathens have turned up! Can we start again ref? ;D ;D Lol. Well spread out.

Heat 10: Armstrong, Atkin, Franklin, Isherwood; 4-2; 30-30; (62-92)
Line Up: Armstrong, Franklin,Isherwood ,Atkin
Comments: Race of the night for 2nd. Rich tried everything to pass Atkin. First the cut backs for the inside then switched to the outside laps 3 and 4. Really tight on the line but the old fella held on. Hopr Rich isn't scared of heights, don't ever think he's been that far up the banking before lol.

Heat 11: Newman, Lambert, Stoneman, Pickard (F/EX); 4-2; 34-32; (66-94)
Line Up: Newman,Ritchings Stoneman,Lambert ,Pickard
Comments: Stopped. Pickard in 2nd spun around and fell. Lambert and Stoneman did very well not to hit him hard' Lambert fallen awkwardly. Took a while to get up but walking away now. Pickard and Stoneman were straight up. Pickard excluded from re run.
Slight delay while Doctor checks over Lambert. Lambert fit for the re run . 21st does mention that they is a doubt over Webster continuing though!
Re run: Brilliant race up front. Lambert was faster than Newman but the Heathen rode a superb defensive lines from tapes to flag. Tight on the line but Newman makes it 3 in a row!

Heat 12: Perry, Isherwood, Ritchings, Sarjeant; 4-2; 38-34; (70-96)
Line Up: Perry,Stoneman Ritchings,Isherwood ,Reade Sarjeant
Comments: Perry with ease. Super race between the rest. Ritchings past Sarj on the outside and stuck at it trying to get Isherwood as well. Almost got there but then lost a bit of ground. Sarj got back up inside of him turn 2 last lap. Lovely cut back turn 4 by Ritchings to re take it on line.

Heat 14: Atkin, Ritchings, Sarjeant, Morris; 2-4; 43-41; (75-103)
Line Up: Morris, Ritchings,Atkin ,Sarjeant
Comments: Looked like Sarj clipped Ash's front wheel down the backstraight lap 1. Ash had a hell of a front end tank slapped on. No idea how he got it back under control and stayed on. But didn't finish. Great race up front. Ritchings challenging hard on the inside of Atkin. So close to getting though but Atkin was just doing enough. Ritchings switched to the outside which gave Sarj a chance to dive up the inside. He was close to passing but Ritchings clung on. Atkin one to watch for the future? Lol ;D
Heathens management just annouced a big thanks for the big following despite the huge task faced tonight' Also watch out on the website for an announcement soon. Something to thank the fans for our support!

Heat 15: Newman, Lambert, Morris, Pickard; 4-2; 47-43 (79-105)
Line-up: Newman, Morris,Pickard ,Lambert
Comments: Heathens gated on a 5-1 but Lambert passed Morris going into lap 2. The a titanic battle at the front between Newman and Lambert and also at the back between Morris and Pickard. Both Heathens under severe pressure but both hang on!. Newman has been announced as the sponsors man of the match but the sponsor has been impressed by the Heathens attitude to fight back and win on the night so he's going to buy a new back tyre for all of the Heathen riders. Very good gesture
