Comments: Plymouth won the toss and take 1 & 3 in heat 1, Diamonds have the choice in heat 15.
Lemon got the initial jump but Barker got up the inside entering turn 1 and gave him a shove wide allowing sedgmen through. Devils team rode after that and won by a mile!

Heat 02: Worrall, Franchetti, Cockle, Newman (Fx) 3-3 (8-4) 53.47
Line Up: Franchetti, Cockle, Newman, Worrall
Comments: Stopped. Diamonds gated superbly but Gino got round Newman on turn 4 of the opening lap. Newman then chasing to pass back pulled a stead style locker on turn 3 lap 2 and fell. Cockly did brilliantly to lay it down and then get up to quickly pull newmans bike off him. Newman up and walking back to pits but excluded.
Re-run Cockle gated but Worrall with a cracking 1st turn got under him and pushed him wide to take the lead. Franchetti quickly passed his partner and gave chase getting very close to passing but Worrall despite wobble or 2 held on, cockle well adrift.

Heat 03: Kristiansen, Haines, Hughes (Fx), Robson (X) 3-2 (11-6) 54.53
Line Up: Kristiansen, Hughes, Haines, Robson
Comments: Stopped. Robson and Kristiansen trapped but exiting turn 2, robbo's bike conked out leaving the devils on a 5-1. Then exiting turn 2 of lap 3 with the devils miles clear of haines, Hughes chain snapped causing him to fall and he is excluded. Robbo also excluded for not being under power. 2 riders only.
Re-run Kristiansen gated and won by quarter of a lap!

Comments: Close gate but wells steams ahead exiting turn 2. Diamonds comfy in the minor places despite Nedermark dicing with the fence on turn 4 of lap 1. Cockle gave up on final lap when well adrift.

Comments: Hughes misses the 2 minutes and is excluded, Franchetti replaces him.
Stopped. Unsatisfactory start re-run with all 4.
Re-run Lemon eletric from the tapes and away for an easy win. Sneddon passed Kristiansen on the backstraight of lap 1 after that Jk didnt look like he fancied it. Pretty strung out by the end.

Comments: Barker like a scalded cat away from the tapes. Tight 1st turn between the other 3 and Nedermark over cooked it and fell. Race continued with the devils on a 4-2 before Newman lifted violently on turn 3 and fell. Both riders brilliantly got their biked off the track and got a deserved round of applause.

Comments: Ooooo go on robbo lad!! Wells gated and led for the first part of lap 1 but robbo flew round the boards on turn 4 to pass him with a cracking move and go on to win well. Haines challenged for a lap but woeful after that.

Comments: The easiest 5-1 the diamonds will get away from home. They gated superbly and the devils pair were a postcode behind! Worrall has been very impressive tonight, really attacked the track and aggressive! Sedgmen was terrible at the back not interested after he missed the gate.

Comments: Robson gated superbly and won with ease. Barker trying everything but couldn't close the gap, robbo doesn't look as if he's been away from the sport. Super fast!! Haines passed Sedgmen exiting turn 2 lap 1 round the outside.

Comments: Stopped. Franchetti demolished the tapes and is replaced by Cockle in re-run.
Re-run Cracking race between the front 2! Devils gated but as they both drifted wide Lemon snuck up the inside to lead exiting bend 2. Wells though wound it on and returned the favour around the boards on turn 4 of lap 1. The pair were then close for a couple of laps before Wells pulled away a little on the final lap. Meanwhile at the back sneddon passed cockle on backstraight lap 1 before cockle then fell bend 2 lap 2.

Tight tight 1st bend but barker gets through the smallest of gaps around robson exiting turn 2 and romped to a cracking win, wells and lemon were close early doors but wells pulled away for a comfortable 3rd. Good meeting in difficult conditions. Robson great value and up there with seb alden as best visitor this season. Goodnight from me.

Right well the meeting is on but it's very wet! Light drizzle still falling and the track looks icy! It's going to be very tricky tonight. Crowd non existant at the moment! It's understandably very slick so all about gating tonight!
A few riders who will remain unamed not looking like they fancy this!
The mascot Dave Abraham has just done 4 laps and he was fine so let's see what happens.
