Heat 01: Parker, Hawkins, Barker, Skidmore (R) 3-3 (3-3) 50.97
Line Up: Barker, Hawkins, Parker, Skidmore
Comments: Parker with a cracking gate off 4 to lead where he stayed, Hawkins kept him honest for all 4 laps though. Barkers bike was very poorly and he was never in it, he missed the parade with bike trouble! Skidmore fell on the opening turn, re mounted but then retired at the end of lap 3.

Heat 02: Cockle, Franchetti, Birks, Lambert 5-1 (8-4) 52.53
Line Up: Franchetti, Cockle, Birks, Lambert
Comments: Stopped. Awful looking incident on turn 1. Lambert gated with Cockle in close attendance, it all got a bit messy and both went down. Birks did well to miss them but Franchetti who missed the gate couldn't avoid Cockle and ran over him. Gino down as well but he and Lambert straight up and ok. Cockle up after a while and walking back to pits. All 4 back.
Re-run Cockle electric from the tapes and never really troubled. Birks well and truly sorted out his team mate on bend 2 taking Lambert to the fence which ended his race having made a decent start. Birks though gave chase to Cockle and looked good untill he made a mistake on bend 4 lap 3 allowing Franchetti up the inside.

Heat 03: Kristiansen, Sanchez, Franchetti, Parker 4-2 (12-6) 51.29
Line Up:Hughes Franchetti, Kristiansen, Sanchez, Ashworth Parker
Comments: Franchetti takes R/R for Plymouth. Parker takes R/R for Sheffield.
Kristiansen gated into the lead but had Sanchez all over him like a rash. The tiger got closer lap by lap and looked very fast but despite trying everything he couldn't quite make a pass. Parker never recovered from a bad gate.

Heat 04: Auty, Lambert, Wells, Cockle 1-5 (13-11) 51.38
Line Up: Wells, Cockle, Auty, Lambert
Comments: Oooo go on auty lad! Cockle gated but Auty rode the boards to pass Wells and Lambert on the opening turns before flying round cockly on bend 4 and won by a mile! Lambert though was also brilliant going from last to second! He forced his way up the inside of wells on bend 3 lap 2 before winding it on to round Cockle exiting turn 4 of lap 3. Super race that!!

Heat 05: Kristiansen, Skidmore, Parker, Cockle 3-3 (16-14) 51.91
Line Up:Hughes Cockle, Kristiansen, Parker, Skidmore
Comments: Cockle takes R/R for Plymouth.
Unsatisfactory start re run with all 4.
Devils gated but skiddy and parker up the inside of cockle turn 2 lap 1. As you were after that although cockle a distant 4th.
Sponsored by Splod
Ben Barker has withdrawn from meeting with a leg injury! Oh dear!
Heat 06: Auty, Franchetti, Hawkins, Birks 3-3 (19-17) 51.41
Line Up:Barker Franchetti, Hawkins, Auty, Birks
Comments: Franchetti replaces Barker.
Auty left at the start but as everyone went wide for the grip he snuck round the white line and was away to win with ease. Hawkins though who came off worse on the first turn pushed his way up the inside of Birks bend 3 lap 2 after a good tussle.

With Barker out i can only see a tigers win now.
Heat 07: Wells, Sanchez, Skidmore, Franchetti 3-3 (22-20) 51.66
Line Up: Wells, Franchetti, Sanchez,Ashworth Skidmore
Comments: Skidmore takes R/R for Sheffield.
Elbows galore on the first turns between wells and sanchez with the devil just getting the better of it entering turn 3. Wells then went on to win with ease. At the back Franchetti fell on his own bend 4 lap 3 but re mounted to finish a distant 4th.
Sponsored by Merlin
Heat 08: Lambert, Hawkins, Birks, Cockle 2-4 (24-24) 52.03
Line Up: Hawkins, Cockle,Skidmore Birks, Lambert
Comments: Stopped. Skidmore down 1st bend and hit the fence hard! all 4 back. Skiddy still down recieving treatment.
Birks will replace Skidmore in re-run of heat 8. Skidmore up and walking back to pits but looking a bit worse for wear.
Re-run Lambert and cockle gated but lambert took cockle wide on turn 2 allowing birks through to 2nd. Hawkins though who gated last passed his partner and then had a good battle with Birks. Hawkins got up the inside of birks bend 3 lap 1 but the pair were side by side entering lap2 before Hawkins made it stick on turns 1 and 2 lap 2.

Heat 09: Kristiansen, Auty, Franchetti, Lambert 4-2 (28-26) 52.19
Line Up:Hughes Franchetti, Kristiansen, Auty, Birks Lambert
Comments: Franchetti takes R/R for Plymouth. Lambert replaces Birks.
Super race up front between the fast gating Kristiansen and auty! Auty madea poor start but was all over him nearly passing him on every lap but jk held on. Meanwhile at the back Gino and lambert had a good race for the first 2 laps before lambert dropped off.

Heat 10: Auty, Sanchez, Hawkins, Cockle 1-5 (29-31) 51.93
Line Up:Barker Cockle, Hawkins, Sanchez, Ashworth Auty
Comments: Cockle replaces Barker. Auty takes R/R for Sheffield.
Stopped. Hawkins jumped it all 4 back.
Auty away from the tapes and gone looking quality tonight! Sanchez had a howler or a first bend but made up for it with a stunning ride. He went up the inside of cockle on turn 3 before chasing down Hawkins. He tried the outside a couple of times but then made a great cutback on turn 4 lap 3. Hawkins came back for more though and there was no more than a wheel in it by the finish! Cracking final lap!

Heat 11: Wells, Lambert, Parker, Franchetti (Fx) 3-3 (32-34) 51.94
Line Up: Wells, Franchetti, Parker,Skidmore Lambert
Comments: Lambert replaces Skidmore.
Stopped. Controversy!! Parker up the inside of franchetti turn 1 lap 2 looked like contact and Gino goes down. Red lights don't come on, Gino stays down ref finally puts red lights on and excludes Franchetti. Crowd not happy and I think Parker is a tad lucky to be out in the re run.
Re-run Panto time early in plymouth as parker comes out for the re run to a chorus of boos from the plymouth fans (the ref called it not him lol) and a chorus of cheers from the tigers faithful. He then duly missed the gate, wells made a stormer and that was that. I have to say i try to be neutral on these updates but in the scenario where Gino went down more often than not Parker would have gone but having said that the refs view wouldn't have been great!

Heat 12: Wells, Cockle, Sanchez, Birks 5-1 (37-35) 51.66
Line Up:Hughes Wells, Cockle, Sanchez, Birks
Comments: Wells takes R/R for Plymouth.
Devils superb from the gate! Sanchez was up cockles backside for all 4 laps trying everything but cockle rode a brilliant race to hang on to 2nd.
Sponsored by
Heat 13: Auty, Parker, Wells, Cockle 1-5 (38-40) 52.22
Line Up:Barker Cockle, Wells, Parker, Auty
Comments: Cockle replaces Barker.
Brilliant from the tigers pair! Cockle gated brilliantly again and did well to hold off the charging Sheffield pair untill bend 4 lap 2 when PArker went under Cockle and auty went round him. Tigers pair won with ease after that, super speedway though!

Heat 14: Franchetti, Sanchez, Lambert, Kristiansen 3-3 (41-43) 52.56
Line Up: Kristiansen, Franchetti,Ashworth Sanchez, Lambert
Comments: Sanchez takes R/R for Sheffield.
Gino wins only his 2nd race at the sba after a top class first lap and gets a huge round of applause, the shouts of 'Gino, Gino' echo around the sba! He was neck and neck with Sanchez before winding it on around bend 4 lap 1 to pull away for the win. Kristiansen made no impression after missing the gate.

Heat 15: Kristiansen, Wells, Auty, Parker 5-1 (46-44) 52.07
Line-up: Wells, Kristiansen, Auty, Parker
Comments: Devils off 2 & 4.
I can't take this every week! Bloody last heat deciders, great drama here! Devils gated and brought the maximum win home. Auty chasing till the end but to no avail. Really great team performance without Barker, good night from me
