Heat Results
Heat 01: Woffinden, Iversen, Porsing, Thorssell (60.8) 3-3
Line Up: Iversen, Porsing, Woffinden, Thorssell
Comments: Woffinden sharp out of the gate, very tight between Porsing and Thorssell on the first turn, Thorsell had to come off the throttle and his race was effectively over. Track very dry with rain threatening.

Heat 02: Worrall, Kerr, Morris, Rose (F,rem) (61.6) 2-4, 5-7
Line Up: Kerr, Rose, Worrall, Morris
Comments: Worrall flew from the gate, Morris cut back under Rose second bend. Rose fell on the last bend trying the big sweep round the boards but remounted to finish.

Heat 03: (Awarded) Bjerre, Schlein, Wells, Pawlicki (FX) (no time) 5-1, 10-8
Line Up: Schlein, Bjerre, R/R - Wells, Pawlicki
Comments: Wells takes the R/R. Pawlicki led from the tapes and led for two laps with Bjerre all over him, Pawlicki pulls a locker bend three lap two causing Bjerre to crash into the fence and his bike to take off like a rocket, ouch. Bjerre up and walking back to the pits after a few minutes on the track. Awarded.

Heat 04: Thorssell, Kerr, Lambert, Morris (60.4) 3-3, 13-11.
Line Up: Lambert, Kerr, Thorssell, Morris
Comments: Lambert round Morris back straight lap one. Wolves far sharper from start so far this evening.

Heat 05: Bjerre, Iversen, Wells, Worrall (59.6) 5-1, 18-12
Line Up: Iversen, Bjerre, R/R - Worrall, Wells
Comments: Worrall R/R heat 5 poor bugger! ... Worrall gated! Bjerre outside and Iversen inside on third bend, lap one, and that was that.

Heat 06: (Rerun) Pawlicki, Woffinden, Schlein, Lambert (FX) (60.0) 1-5, 19-17
Line Up: Schlein, Lambert, Woffinden, Pawlicki
Comments: Lambert flipped at the gate, got up and off the track but left his bike behind, so race stopped, and Lambert excluded.
Rerun: Good battle between woffinden & Schlein for a couple of laps, but Wolves hit back for a predictable 5-1. (Bagpuss doesn't sound too impressed with his skipper).

Heat 07: Worrall, Wells, Rose, porsing (60.8) 1-5, 20-22
Line Up: Porsing, Rose, Wells, Worrall
Comments: Unsatisfactory start, all four back. More than one rider twitching!
Restart: FTG. Stars dreadful from the traps tonight. Fingers out please boys!

Heat 08: Pawlicki, Schlein, Thorssell, Lambert (59.8) 2-4, 22-26
Line Up: Schlein, Lambert, Thorssell, R/R - Pawlicki
Comments: Pawlicki takes the R/R. Pawlicki gated and won by a street, looks quite a talent. Lambert close to Thorssell several times, but very little grip to pass tonight.

Heat 09: Morris, Rose, Worrall, Kerr (Ret) (61.2) 2-4, 24-30
Line Up: Kerr, Rose, Worrall, Morris
Comments: Rose round Worrall bend three lap one and all over Morris for rest of race. Kerr gave it a good go but packed up last lap while at the back.

Heat 10: Iversen, Porsing, Thorssell, Pawlicki (Ret) (59.6) 5-1, 29-31
Line Up: Iversen, Porsing, R/R - Thorssell, Pawlicki
Comments: Thorssell takes the R/R. Pawlicki's bike ten times louder than it should be from the gate and unsurprisingly he retired back straight lap one with a broken silencer. Great move from Porsing to sweep round Thorsell bend 4 lap 1. Iversen literally had his back wheel on the kickboards for the entire four laps, fastest line is very, very wide.

Heat 11: Bjerre, Wells, Schlein, Woffinden (60.7) 4-2, 33-33
Line Up: Schlein, Bjerre, Woffinden, Wells
Comments: Best race of the night by a country mile. Bjerre gated with the other three close behind, handkerchief could have been put over all four for the entire race. Schlein last for the whole heat but swept tound Woffinden on the last bend, as he was team riding Wells home. Phew!

Heat 12: Thorssell, Porsing, Kerr, Morris (60.3) 3-3, 36-36
Line Up: Porsing, Kerr, Thorssell, Morris
Comments: Superb second bend by Thorssell to chop between the two KL riders down the back straight.

9:00pm Just started to spit with rain ...
Heat 13: Bjerre, Iversen, Pawlicki, Woffinden (Ret) (59.9) 5-1, 41-37
Line Up: Iversen, Bjerre, Woffinden, Pawlicki
Comments: Unbelievable race, Wolves gated but Bjerre hugged the kerb bends one and two to nip into the lead, Iversen passed Woffinden entering lap two and repeated the move on Pawlicki going into lap three! Woffy packed up at the back last lap.
Sponsored by:
Heat 14: Lambert, Wells, Worrall, Rose (60.8) 3-3, 44-40
Line Up: Lambert, Rose, Wells, Worrall
Comments: Wow, wow, wow! Wolves gated yet again with Lambert shoved wide off gate 4 but he got his head down, passed Rose and Worrall at the end of lap one and then screwed it on to go round Wells on lap three.

Heat 15: Iversen, Bjerre, Pawlicki, Thorssell (60.2) 5-1, 49-41
Line Up: Bjerre, Iversen, Thorssell, Pawlicki
Comments: KL choose 2&4. Iversen round the lot off gate four on first lap to secure all three points, Bjerre peerless all night. Stars get out of jail, nobody could have begrudged Wolves a point.

Teams confirmed.
Wolves won toss and take 1&3 in Heat 1, so Stars will choose in Heat 15. Bagpuss says track looks less grippy this week.
