Heat Results
Heat 01: Clegg, Stokes, Campos, Mogridge - Fell / Remounted 3-3 Agg: 54-42 Time: 61.97
Line Up: Clegg, R/R - Williamson, Stokes, Campos
Comments: Williamson is for rider replacement.
Good race to start. Super gate by Stokes and rode a good line holding off the Heathens. Clegg finally got him off bend 4 outside going into lap 4. At the same time Mogridge pulled a lovely move inside Stokes going into bend 1 lap 4. He then immediately slipped off and Stokes did well to miss him. Shame as he made the move and got through clean.

Heat 02: Kinsley, Parkinson-Blackburn, Cupitt 2-4 5-7 Agg: 56-46 Time: 61.75 (Govier - Fell / Excluded)
Line Up: Parkinson-Blackburn, Govier, Cupitt, Kinsley
Comments: Race Stopped, Govier made a mess of the stat and a mess of bend 1 falling all on his own. He jumped up thankfully unhurt but the looked at where the other riders were and just stood on track making no effort to get his bike clear to allow racing to continue. Parkinson-Blackburn was a clear leader. Govier is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Even start between the front two. Thought Parkinson-Blackburn would edge Kinsley up and squeeze him out but Kinsley had a lovely time first bend and backstraight to take the lead into bend 3 lap 1. Never looked back from there. Parkinson-Blackburn comfortable 2nd but Cupitt not dropped off either.

Line Up: Ritchings, Mogridge, R/R - Kinsley, Hazelden
Comments: Kinsley is for rider replacement.
Mogridge all the way after a super gate. Ritchings cruising along nicely as the Heathens head for a 5-1 before Ritchings packed up bends 3 and 4 lap 2.

Williamson with a lighting start to win with ease. Govier again fell first bend at the back. Disappointed to see Bailey tailed off in 3rd. Hope he gets dialed in.

Heat 05: Ritchings, Mogridge, Stokes, Campos 5-1 16-14 Agg: 67-53 Time: 62.82
Line Up: Ritchings, Mogridge, Stokes, Campos
Comments: What a race by the Heathens duo. King's Lynn gated on a 5-1. Mogridge put it in the dirt around the bend 1 and blasted past both visiting riders as they hit the backstraight. He then cleared off. Ritchings took two laps to have look at Campos before deciding Mogridge's route was best. Last lap he went around Campos and Stokes on consecutive corners to steal away 2nd. Great racing.

Line Up: Clegg, R/R - Parkinson-Blackburn, Bailey, KinsleyCupitt
Comments: Parkinson-Blackburn is for rider replacement and Kinsley replaces Cupitt.
Clegg all the way but impressive first bend by Kinsley briefly threatened him coming off bend 2 first time. Kinsley should get 7 rides tonight. Impressive start for him.

Line Up: Williamson,Parkinson-Blackburn Govier, R/R - Campos, Hazelden
Comments: Campos is for rider replacement and Govier replaces Parkinson-Blackburn.
Race Stopped. Good start by Campos but Williamson quickly moves inside him coming off bend 2 lap 1. As Williamson moves through around the bend Campos makes a small mistake and falls. Quite a heavy landing but he's up and walking away. Campos is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Williamson by a mile. Govier had a go bend 1 and almost got himself around Hazelden. Hazelden quickly settled in 2nd.

Good stuff by our guests. Ritchings last to first out in the dirt on the first bend. Parkinson-Blackburn made a super stat to show a clean pair of heels to the visitors. I've jinxed Kinsley!

Heat 09: Ritchings, Mogridge, Bailey, Cupitt 5-1 33-21 Agg: 84-60 Time: 62.60

Comments: Race Stopped. Mogridge with a super start that made everybody else look slow. Referee needlessly stops it which just holds up the meeting. BSPA must look at this for next season. Too many restarts.
Re-Run: Mogridge hit the first bend 1st anyway. Ritchings came around him in the dirt and the Heathens cruised away up front. Good to see Ritchings riding nicely on the edge of the dirt. Looks like the confidence is returning.

Comments: Parkinson-Blackburn and Bailey is for rider replacements.
Clegg jumped the start but it's not stopped. Inconsistent refereeing!! He cleared off by a mile as you'd except. Parkinson-Blackburn got close to the King's Lynn pairing mid race by hugging the kerb. He was caught between riding the kerb or the dirt. I think and in trying both lost ground to leave the visitors with the race shared comfortably.

Forget the front two. Govier moved inside Cupitt on bends 3 and 4 lap 1. As they exit the turn Cupitt lifted and did well not to clout the fence. He then pulled over out the race and fell to the floor in pain. Unbelievably only one of the two first aiders went over to him to see if he was okay or needed treatment etc. The other one finished watching the race and only then walked over to him!!! Glad to say Cupitt walked away a few minutes.

Heat 13: Williamson, Clegg, Stokes, Bailey 5-1 48-30 Agg: 99-69 Time: 61.72
Line Up: Clegg, Williamson, Stokes, Bailey
Comments: The expected heat result but not as easy as it could have been. Good start by Stokes and although Clegg tried to lead on him he held his ground off gate 1. Williamson came around him easily enough but he held Clegg for a lap and made the home captain dive both through. Heathens then moved a long way clear. Good effort by Stokes through and always god to see riders still showing some fight.

Heat 14: Mogridge, Kinsley, Parkinson-Blackburn, Hazelden 4-2 52-32 Agg: 103-62 Time: 62.90
Line Up: Mogridge, Parkinson-Blackburn, Hazelden, Kinsley
Comments: Superb first bend by Mogridge to round them off the first bend. He's been superb since inexplicably binning it in his first ride. Parkinson-Blackburn him on a 5-1 but Kinsley bounced back from a dip mid meeting to round his night off with another impressive outing. He put it in the dirt and chased down the Heathens. It took a couple of laps to build speed but moved himself smoothly around Parkinson-Blackburn. Parkinson-Blackburn kept trying to get back up the inside of him but Kinsley was picking up the drive coming off the bends. Good race.

Heat 15: Clegg, Williamson, Kinsley, Stokes 5-1 57-33 Agg: 108-72 Time: 61.37
Line-up: Clegg, Williamson, Stokes, Kinsley
Comments: Heathens all the way with one of the most comprehensive 5-1's you'll see in Heat 15. Clegg was on the inside looking for Williamson and I think he did intend letting Williamson cross the line for a full max. Williamson seemed to left just a touch off the last bend and lose just a little momentum. As Clegg looked across and shut off it was just a tad late and Clegg crossed the line for the win by no more than inches.

Super night for our top end. Williamson and Clegg superb and Williamson particularly good tonight. Ritchings and Mogridge beaten only by an engine failure and fall while in paid win positions.
We'll get smashed by Eastbourne unless we use guests at both reserve positions to give us half a chance. Matt just sad I think we can kick their ase. Lol
