Teams now confirmed from trackside. It has been announced that Andy Moore is celebrating his birthday today (Happy Birthday 007) and also that Skornicki has not yet arrived at the track (although his mechanic is already there). ETFC will keep us informed.
Skornicki has now arrived and racing should start soon.
Heat 1: Gjedde got the perfect gate, almost too good. Was 2 races in one with the 2 split.
Heat 2: Robins from the gate.
Heat 3: Povazhny fell and excluded. Bend 3 of lap 1, Stead came under Povazhny and he fell, probably the right decision. Povazhny was leading at the time.
Rerun - Bridger gated but went too wide on bend 2 of lap 1 and Stead came underneath. Tacey was well behind and had throttle problems towards the end of the race.
Heat 4: Risager from the tapes, Woodward came from 3rd to 2nd on bend 2 of lap 1. Moore wasnt far behind but Ulamek looked slow.
Heat 5: Unsatisfactory start - all four back. Forsberg had to change helmet colour at the start line but did it just in time. ETFC says that the start looked ok to him.
Rerun - From the gate. Gjedde 6 wins from 6 starts so far in total, looks quick and not troubled.
Heat 6: Tacey retired at the end of lap 1. Kennett took Stead on bend 4 of lap 1 and never looked back, spaced out at the end.
Heat 7: Robins pair gated, Woodward and Lemon collided on the back straight and did well to stay on, ETFC says that he was expecting a 5-1 to Eastbourne then so not good.
Heat 8: Robins pair from the gate, Ulamek looking quick now. Moore looking good.
Heat 9: Povazhny retired while 2nd on the home straight of lap 2. Eagles were on a 5-1 at the time.
Heat 10: From the gate, track is turning a bit slick in places now.
Heat 11: Race stopped. Tacey fell and excluded. Tacey fell while challenging King.
Heat 12: Doolan from the gate. Forsberg went inside of Risager on bend 1 of lap 3 and never looked back. ETFC thinks that score ends it for Eastbourne unless things change.
Heat 13: Bridger got past TC at the start of lap 2, he then got bend 3 of lap 3 wrong and Tomasz got back through. Possible rut on bend 3 (where ETFC stands) as a few of the riders are struggling. Lemon fell on bend 3 of lap 4.
Heat 14: From the gate. ETFC says OMG! Skornicki won a race
Heat 15: Eagles from the gate. Kennett seemed to forget what side he was riding for and was racing Simon.
Heat 16: Race stopped - all four back.
Rerun - From the gate but Bridger not too happy with Gjedde.
Heat 17: From the gate. TC full max and good riding tonight.
Heat 18: Screen retired coming out of bend 2 of lap 2. Woodward had a moment and did well to stay on. Skornicki has looked good tonight.
Many thanks to ETFC for the texts tonight and thank you all for looking in
