Teams now confirmed from track.
There is a 10 minute delay as the crowd is very large and there are still people coming in. Debs says that she is looking out for Complin tonight who she has been watching at Stoke, she also says that the great Mr Hall is there watching
Just had a quick chat with Debs - start is still delayed atm but could hear bikes in the background (wish I was there!). Coventry have won the coin toss and have taken gates 1&3. Track looks average: slick in places and grippy round the outside.
Heat 1: Johnston in as RR. Complin and Nicholls fell on bend 1 of lap 1. To be rerun with all four riders. Andersen blast round the outside for the lead, Nicholls went from 4th to 2nd by bend 3 of the first lap. Complin passed Johnno on the 2nd bend of lap 2 before Johnno returned the compliment on the 3rd bend of the same lap.
Heat 2: Swiderski fell on the third bend of lap 1 when leading, Janniro passed Hefenbrock on the 4th bend of lap 2.
Heat 3: Complin to take RR. Debs not too happy with scoreline
Heat 4: From the gate, Johnno really on form and an easy win for him.
Heat 5: Bjerre to take RR. Janniro to take RR. Nicholls blasted round the outside and Janniro passed King on the 1st to 2nd bend of lap 2.
Heat 6: Andersen passed Schlein on the 2nd bend of lap 1, Complin passed Janniro on the 2nd bend of lap 2 then went past Schlein on the 4th bend of lap 3. Debs is happy
Heat 7: Harris has an E/F on bend 1 of the first lap, the rest was from the gate.
Heat 8: Schlein to take RR. Johnston flew out of the gate, Panthers in front of Schlein by 2nd bend of lap 1. Complin passed his team mate on the 1st bend of lap 3 and then chased Johnno but run out of laps to pass.
Heat 9: Andersen to take RR. Unsatisfactory start - all four back. King out of the gate well, Andersen slow to the 2nd bend of lap 1. Hans passed Schlein on the 1st bend of lap 4.
Heat 10: Harris touched the tapes and will go off -15m. Andersen passed Smolinski on the 4th bend of lap 1. Harris had an E/F on the 4th bend of lap 3. Complin tried hard to get 2nd place round the outside.
Heat 11: Smolinski to take RR. Smolinski retired with an E/F on bend 1 of lap 1. The result was from the gate.
Heat 12: King to take RR. Harris passed King on the 4th bend of lap 1 before King reversed the favour on the 4th bend of lap 2 before pulling away for the win.
Heat 13. Johnston as reserve replacement for Schlein. Andersen went too wide on the 2nd bend of lap 1 and that let Nicholls through into first place, he got past Bjerre but couldn't catch Nicholls up.
Heat 14: Swiderski as reserve replacement for Hefenbrock. Race awarded as Smolinski fell on the 2nd bend of lap 2. Swiderski and King had passed Smolinski. Debs says that she thinks that it was a strange decision by the ref!
Heat 15: Andersen Bjerre Nicholls Harris
Panthers win the toss and take gates 1&3. From the gate. Bjerre came close to passing Nicholls for the first 2 laps but then Nicholls pulled away.
Many thanks to Debs for the texts tonight and thank you all for looking in. A great close meeting - well done to the Panthers.
