Comments: Great start from Laguta to take the lead, Bjerre 2nd, Sayfudinov 3rd and Jensen at the back, Sayfudinov goes wide on bend 2 and passes Bjerre to take 2nd.
Heat 17: Woffinden, Dudek, Lambert, Janowski 2-4 (P - 32 V GB - 43) 64.37
Line Up: Poland V Great Britain - Janowski, Dudek, Woffinden,
Comments: Dudek makes a good start for the lead, Lambert 2nd, Woffinden 3rd and Janowski 4th. Woffinden moves into 2nd on bend 3 lap 1, he works hard and pushes Dudek until he gets past for the lead on bend 3 lap 2. Lambert is having to work hard to keep 3rd, Janowski is pushing hard and he go up the inside on the backstraight of lap 4 and Lambert just gets 3rd back on the run in to the finish line. Superb riding from the Brits tonight!
Heat 18: Re-Run: Doyle, Lindgren, Fricke, Lindback 2-4 (S - 29 V A - 35) 65.47
Line Up: Sweden V Australia - Lindgren, Lindback, Doyle, Fricke
Comments: Lindback moved and race is eventually stopped on bend 2. All 4 back for the re-run, but Lindback warned.
Re-Run: Lindgren makes a good start for the lead, Doyle 2nd, Lindback 3rd and Fricke 4th. Fricke comes through for 3rd past Lindback on bend 4 lap 1. Great last lap, which allows Doyle and Fricke to pass Lindgren as he goes wide on bends 3 and 4 to win the race, but Lindgren just gets 2nd by a tyre width from Fricke at the end.
Heat 19: Woffinden, Laguta, Sayfutdinov, Lambert 3-3 (R - 45 V GB - 46) 64.34
Line Up: Russia V Great Britain - Laguta, Sayfutdinov, Woffinden,
Comments: Laguta takes the lead, Woffinden 2nd, Lambert 3rd and Sayfutdinov 4th. Sayfutdinov comes through for 3rd passing Lambert on bend 3 lap 1. Woffinden pushing hard for the lead and takes it on the final bend for Britain to qualify straight through to the final!!
Heat 20: Janowski, Huckenbeck, Dudek, Hartel 2-4 (G - 23 V P - 36) 64.50
Line Up: Germany V Poland - Huckenbeck,
Comments: Huckenbeck makes a great start, Hartel 2nd, Janowski 3rd and Dudek 4th. Janowski and Dudek both pass Hartel on the backstraight of lap 1 for 2nd and 3rd. Janowski works hard and passes Huckenbeck into lap 2 for the lead.
Heat 21: Jensen, Lindgren, Lindback, Jakobsen 3-3 (D - 35 V S - 32) 64.94
Line Up: Denmark V Sweden - Jensen,
Comments: Jakobsen takes the lead, Lindgren 2nd, Jensen 3rd and Lindback 4th. Lindgren takes the lead into bend 2, but Jensen passes for the lead on bend 3 lap 1. Jakobsen drops to the back by bend 3 and Lindback moves into 3rd.
2nd and 3rd Place Run-Off: Re-Run: Janowski, Laguta, Sayfutdinov 65.19 (Russia through to the final) (Dudek - Tapes / Excluded)

Comments: Dudek moved at the tapes, Race Stopped and is now excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Good start from Janowski to take the lead, Laguta 2nd, Sayfutdinov 3rd. Russia through by default now with Poland only having 1 rider in the re-run!

Comments: Lambert takes the lead, Laguta comes through for the lead, Sayfutdinov takes 2nd too, Woffinden 3rd and Lambert 4th. Woffinden passes Sayfutdinov on bend 3 lap 1 for 2nd. Woffinden pushing hard for the lead around the outside and takes it into lap 4. Lambert pushing hard at the back, but can't get past. Russia are the champions! These run-off and final are so unfair should be declared after the 42 heats!!
