Comments: Lawson makes a good start from gate 4 to edge ahead of Douglas to take lead. Douglas all over Lawson but no way past.

Heat 02: Re-run Gilkes, Kennedy, Ablitt, Kinsley 2-4 5-7 58.74
Line Up: Kinsley, Kennedy, Ablitt, Gilkes
Comments: Unsatisfactory start all4back. Ablitt warned.
Gilkes and Kennedy hit the first bend level but Gilkes emerged out of bend 2 in front. Kinsley tried a last bend move round the outside of Ablitt and almost got 3rd on the line.

Comments: Good battle between Allen and Palm Toft for the first couple of laps before Allen pulled clear, Palin looked set for 3rd before Barker went around the outside bend 2 lap 3.

Comments: Stopped, Gladiators pair made the gate but Gilkes got horribly out of shape on bend 1 and Wiped out Andersen. Both riders up and walking back. Referee says red lights were on before crash so all 4 back.
Aarnio touches tapes will go off 15 metres..
Gilkes round the outside of Kennedy down homestraight of lap 2 to join Andersen out front, Andersen almost stops on run to line to give Gilkes the win

Gladiators gate on a 5-1. Allen goes round the outside of Bowtell down backstraight lap 1. Douglas then got past Bowtell. Scorpions struggling to get out the start so far.

Comments: Lambert flies round the outside of Andersen backstraight lap 1 to join Douglas for a much needed 5-1 to the home team.

Line Up: Aarnio, Kinsley, Barker, Palm Toft
Comments: Barker made the gate with Aarnio into bend 1, Aarnio went too wide and allowed Palm Toft through, Plymouth looked set for a 5-1 but Aarnio charged them down brilliantly to reel them in and almost passed both Gladiators on run to line. Kinsley poor and a long way off at the back.

Comments: Plymouth gate on a 5-1, Kennedy goes up the inside of Bowtell on bend 2 lap 2 and Lambert follows. Gladiators far better out the start.

Comments: Andersen pushes Allen wide on bend 1 lap 1 which in turn almost put Palin in the fence, Allen winds it on around the outside coming out of bend 4 lap 1, to fly past the Plymouth pair down the homestraight. Brilliant move from Allen through the tightest of gaps. Palin close to Ablitt on last lap.

Comments: Stopped, Gilkes runs out of room on bend 1 and hits air fence, Ambulance on track. Still down getting medical attention. Gilkes now been placed in Ambulance, Delay while air fence is fixed and Gilkes gets the Medical attention he needs. Ambulance now leaving track. Another Ambulance has just arrived at track. No news as yet, Still treatment going on in the pits area. Sounds like bikes are warming up in the pits. All4back. Ablitt will be in if/when the re-run takes place. Gilkes has been transferred to county ambulance and racing will resume shortly. Suspected Broken Arm for Gilkes announced over PA System
Scorpions gate on a 5-1 for first lap or so, Kennedy seemed to slow and Ablitt nipped up the inside and Palm Toft followed him through.
