Great gate by Tully off gate 4. Hopwood moved into second on the third bend of the opening lap.
Heat 02: Summers, Taylor, Morris, Hodgson Time: 62.2
Hodgson slipped off on the third bend, lap 1 and retired from the race. Morris was over half a lap behind the first two.
Heat 03: Lambert, Bekker, Martin, Richardson Time: 62.6
Won from the gate.
Heat 04: Haines, Blair, Naylor, Emerson Time: 60.9
Phil Naylor replaced Jade Mudgway as he's stuck in traffic. Won from the gate. Emerson fell on the first bend of lap 2.
Heat 05: Haines, Hopwood, Martin, Hodgson Time: 61.4
Hodgson went from second to last on the last lap.
Heat 06: Richardson, Dalloway, Summers ef (three riders only) Time: 62.1
There were only two finishers. Summers shed a chain on the first lap then Dalloway did likewise on the last lap and pushed home for second. Emerson has withdrawn from the meeting.
Heat 07: Blair, Taylor, Lambert, Norton Time: 61.4
Taylor passed Lambert on lap 3. Emerson has withdrawn from the meeting.
Heat 08: Tully, Bekker, Morris (three riders only) 60.8.
Won from the gate. Mudgway has arrived but didn't have time to prepare for this heat. There will now be a short break while Kevin Doolan tests an engine (!) and it's been confirmed that Josh Auty will guest for Belle Vue in Monday's match against Ipswich. It culd be R/R for Linbdback.

From the gate. Hopwood slid off on the third bend of lap 1.

From the gate - Hodgson spun on the first turn and retired.
Heat 11: Martin, Norton, Morris, Naylor Time: 61.5
Won from the gate - a very strung out race.
Heat 12: Haines, Taylor, Tully, Richardson Time: 61.0
From the gate again. Richardson fell and remounted.
Heat 13: Taylor, Hopwood, Bekker, Naylor Time: 61.6
Bekker fell and remounted to pass Naylor. The track is now very slick - not Voyens slick! but slick.
Heat 14: Haines, Lambert, Dalloway, Morris Time: 61.3
Haines is looking very quick tonight and is making great starts.
Heat 15: Richardson, Hodgson, Mudgway, Norton Time: 64.0
Mudgway fell and remounted. Norton fell on the last bend of the last lap.
Heat 16: Tully, Blair, Martin, Summers Time: 61.4
The best race of the night. Tully went from third to first in two laps.
Heat 17: Blair, Hopwood, Richardson, Morris No time - race awarded.
The race was awarded when Morris high-sided it on the last lap.
Heat 18: Dalloway, Martin, Taylor, Mudgway Time: 63.1
Close race between the first three with Mudgway some way off at the back.
Heat 19: Haines, Bekker, Summers, Norton Time: 61.7
Haines passed Bekker on the inside of the fourth bend on the second lap to win the Championship with a maximum.
Heat 20: Tully, Lambert, Naylor, Hodgson Time: 62.0
Tully passed Lambert on the second lap. Hodgson fell on the second lap. There will now be a run-off between Andrew Tully and Greg Blair for second place.
Run-off for second place: Tully, Blair
Tully was off the inside in red while Blair was off gate 3 in green. Tully made the gate and Blair couldn't make up the ground.
