Heat 01: Muff, Bowtell, Smith, Warren 4-2 62.77
Line Up: Smith, Muff, Bowtell, Warren
Comments: Mildenhall gate but Warren keeps moving out which causes Bowtell to shut off. This leaves a massive gap on the inside which Muff exploits to hit the front down the backstraight. Bowtell never really troubled Muff after that. Smith went inside Warren on bend 1 lap 2. Warren tailed off at end of race.

Heat 02: Butcher, Hodder, Richardson, Bowen 2-4 6-6 63.0
Line Up: Bowen, Hodder, Richardson, Butcher
Comments: Bowen gates, Butcher flies round him off bend 2 lap 1. Bowen doesn't give up and almost gets round him bend 3 lap 3. Bowen tried again on final bends but falls, Up and ok and finishes the race.

Comments: Great race.
Marson gates. Hagon doesn’t. Hagon out wide opening bends and looks to have got both tigers down the backstraight on the opening lap but then looks to have collided with the fence as he slowed up. Trigger trying everything to pass Marson. Hagon gaining on Trigger. Marson leaves a gap on the final bend and Trigger comes through to take the win on the line.

Comments: Hagon gates. Marson just gets the better of Bowtell round the opening bends. Bowtell goes round Marson on Bend 4 Lap 1 but then turns the bike really hard, almost locking up, on Bend 1 Lap 2 and Marson slides off to avoid hitting him. Marson gets up to finish the race a long way back

Bowtell gates, moves out but Pearson reads it and cuts back to make the pass up the inside down the backstraight, Bowtell close to repassing off bend 4 lap 1 but Pearson holds him off well. Pearson pulled clear from Lap 2.
