Comments: Cracking race, Cook gates best but then blocks Hagon who tries to round the field, Hagon keeps it on the inside and rounds Kye bend 4 lap 1 at the same time Paco looks to dive under both.
Close race throughout with Paco taking the lead going into every corner and Hagon taking it back coming out before the Monarch gets the run to the line.

Comments: Heat eight stopped (of a fashion) as red lights didn't come on despite Hagon and James both falling on turn one.
**An electrical problem is being dealt with, and meanwhile the interval will be taken. Still awaiting official ruling on status of heat 8.
Meeting to resume even though the red track lights are still not working. The tower exclusion lights will be used to advise flag marshals of any further stoppages**
Heat 8 to be re-run with 2 riders only with Hagon disqualified for falling and James disqualified for not being underpower - bit harsh on the Edinburgh youngster.
Re-run: Thomsen hunts down Lasse and rounds him last corner to take the win on the line.
