Hall suffered a nasty crash when he clipped the fence between turns 3 & 4 at high speed, while lying third. He is now back on his feet. Further info is that his engine seized and he is now just being checked by the doctor so there may be a slight delay…

Topinka didn’t make the best of starts but somehow managed, with the help of Stonehewer, to find the space to pass both Scunthorpe riders. Superb display by all the Workington team but Topinka in particular.
