Heat Results
Heat 01: Richardson,Pedersen, Nieminen, Dryml(F) 2-4 56.5
Line Up: Pedersen, Dryml, Richardson, Nieminen
Comments: Dryml fell first bend, look to be a bit of contact, was gesturing at the ref and rightly so. Pedersen inside of Nieminen bend 3 lap 4

Heat 02: Bridger, Robson, Mear, Hawkins 3-3 57.4 5-7
Line Up: Hawkins, Bridger, Mear, Robson
Comments: Bridger missed the gate slightly but got past and in front by bend 2. Hawkins chased Mear for 2 laps before tailing off.

Heat 03: Richardson, Woodward, Gustafsson, Tomicek 3-3 57.1 8-10
Line Up: Gustafsson, Woodward, Richardson(RR), Tomicek
Comments: Richardson gave Gustafsson nowhere to go and pushed him out until he either shut off or was going to hit the fence, pretty harsh but at least our rider stays on and doesn't bail out like someone else (I have no idea what he is talking about - updaters comment)
Sponsored by: www.speedway-games.co.uk [/b]
Heat 04: Re-run Ljung, Kylmakorpi, Bridger, Robson 3-3 57.9 11-13
Line Up: Kylmakorpi, Bridger, Ljung, Robson
Comments: Stopped. Bridger took a fall but he managed to make it a lot easier for himself as bike was bucking towards the fence till he caught, maybe a new career as a rodeo rider after speedway..all 4 back. In re-run, Both Eagles missed the gate and made hard work of seeing off Robson.

Heat 05: Gustafsson, Richardson, Woodward, Nieminen 4-2 57.5 15-15
Line Up: Gustafsson, Woodward, Richardson, Nieminen
Comments: Gustafsson tucked Ricahrdson up at the start, payback is a naughty word. Both Eagles got through, Richardson steamed under Woodward, nearly collecting him in the process and not sure where Nieminen was but he wasn't in the race, bit like ETFC's Grand National selections really.

Heat 06: Pedersen, Dryml, Mear, Ljung 5-1 57.4 20-16
Line Up: Pedersen, Dryml, Ljung, Mear
Comments: Both Eagles got past Ljung with Dryml tucking him up nicely. Ljung then got the hump and the crowd were dodging low flying toys from his pram.

Heat 07: Re-run Kylmakorpi, Robson, Hawkins, Tomicek(Ex) 4-2 58.2 24-18
Line Up: Kylmakorpi, Hawkins, Robson(RR), Tomicek
Comments: Stopped, Tomicek excuded for taking Kylmakorpi out on bend 3...right decision according to ETFC. In the re-run, from the gate and spread out like ETFC's belly when he hit puberty.
Sponsored by Merlin
Heat 08: Dryml, Bridger, Nieminen, Robson 5-1 57.5 29-19
Line Up: Dryml, Bridger, Nieminen, Robson
Comments: Easy as you like for the now rampant Eagles. Shouts and cheers from the Eagles fans, shouts for a taxi home for the Hammers fans...and they're charging them double rate (Eh? Updaters comment)

Heat 09: Re-run Ljung(TR), Woodward, Gustafsson, Mear 3-6 58.3 32-25
Line Up: Gustafsson, Woodward, Ljung(TR), Mear
Comments: Stopped, Gustafsson took a fall on bend 1. Ljung is also on a tactical ride. In re-run, silence from the crowd, Eagles pair never troubled (Er....er....Updaters comment), got to give Ljung a moment of glory, otherwise he will flood the track wth his tears (Can I have some of what ETFC is taking, sounds like fun! Updaters comment)

Heat 10: Pedersen, Dryml, Nieminen, Tomicek 5-1 58.4 37-26
Line Up: Pedersen, Dryml, Nieminen(RR), Tomicek
Comments: Easy as you like for the Eagles pair. Hammers nowhere. ETFC is not particularly complimentary regarding Tomicek's ability to ride the track compared to when he rode for them.

Heat 11: Ricahrdson, Kylmakorpi, Nieminen, Hawkins 2-4 58.4 39-30
Line Up: Kylmakorpi, Hawkins, Richardson, Nieminen
Comments: Hammers pair gated, Kylmakorpi flew past Nieminen like he was stood still on bend 3 lap 1 but could not get Richardson.

Comments:Stopped, movement at the tapes, thinks it was Ljung but not sure. All 4 back. Stopped again, only Ljung left standing, Kylmakorpi excluded. Kylmakorpi and Richardson back up, Pedersen getting treatment...right decision. Pedersen now up and walking back to the pits. Heat 14: Bridger, Robson, Mear, Woodward 3-3 58.5 47-40

Sponsored by Splod [/b]
Heat 15: Re-run Richardson, Kylmakorpi, Pedersen, Ljung(F/Ex) 3-3 58.9 50-43
Line-up: Kylmakorpi, Pedersen, Richardson, Ljung
Comments: Eagles take gates 1 and 3...Jon Cook says this afternoon was the highest crowd ever. Race stopped, Ljung fell and stayed down, ETFC says nothing wrong with him, he made no attempt to get up, obviously hoping for an engine failure for Eastie. Eagles were on a 4-2 at the time. (The updater may not agree with the above sentiments). In the re-run, Richardson won at a canter but Eagles pair not trying and just seeing home for the points. ETFC is def not a happy bunny with Ljung.

Teams confirmed.
Ref: Mick Posselwhite
Weather: Glorious, very sunny, couple of nothing clouds. Tan coming along nicely.
Track: Looks like slick on the inside with a bit on the outside
Apparently Swiderski took ill after the Lakeside meeting this afternoon. Also Lahti has a touch of concussion but is fine.
Eagles win the toss and have elected to choose gates in heat 15. Hammers have chosen gates 1 and 3
