Heat Results
Sheffield win the toss and take 1&3 in heat 1
Heat 01: Barker, Skidmore, Franc, Holder 49.75, 3-3
Line Up: Barker, Holder, Franc, Skidmore
Comments: Barker out and gone. Holder fell and remounted on turn 3 lap 2 when miles behind. Skidmore looked decent though!
Sponsored by www.enjaydesigns.co.uk
Heat 02: Glanz, Ksiezak, Haines, Sanchez(Ret) 52.81; 5-1, 8-4
Line Up: Glanz, Ksiezak, Sanchez, Haines
Comments: Devils pair gated and whilst they were taking care of Haines on the outside, Sanchez barged his way up the inside to lead entering the back straight. Sanchez then away and gone and leading by a country mile until the back straight of lap 3 when his bike gave up gifting the Devils a 5-1.

Heat 03: Re-run: Gathercole, Kurtz, Hall, Schramm 51.43; 5-1, 13-5
Line Up: Gathercole, Kurtz, Schramm, Hall
Comments: Race stopped after three man pile up on the first bend. Schramm clattered into Gathercole who had made the gate. No intent, Schramm simply straightened up in what was a tight corner causing Hall to go down also. Kurtz was down low and missed it all. Hall straight up, Gathercole up but holding his wrist and after a couple of minutes Schramm gets to his feet also. All 4 back for the re-run. Re-run: Gathercole from the tapes and easy for him. Good battle for second though as Hall, Schramm and Kurtz exit bend 2 together. Hall got the better of it though and led into turn 3 with Kurtz right up his exhaust. It stayed that way until bend 4 lap 3 when Hall made a mistake allowing Kurtz up the inside and into 2nd where he stayed. Schramm was a bit all over the place at the back.

Heat 04: Re-run: Wells, Fisher, Haines 50.09; 2-4, 15-9
Line Up: Fisher, Ksiezak, Wells, Haines
Comments: Race stopped, Ksiezak down 1st bend and is excluded from the re-run. Re-run: Wells out the gate and rode a very good race to keep Fisher a bike's length back for all 4 laps despite Fish's best efforts he couldn't close the gap. Haines a postcode away at the back.

Heat 05: Franc, Gathercole, Kurtz, Skidmore 51.47; 3-3, 18-12
Line Up: Gathercole, Kurtz, Franc, Skidmore
Comments: Franc made a really good start and looked much better. Gathercole tried to mix it on turn 1 but couldn't manage to pass Pepe. Good battle for third but despite being under pressure from Skidmore, Kurtz looked solid enough.

Heat 06: Barker, Wells, Sanchez, Holder(fell) 51.54; 3-3, 21-15
Line Up: Barker, Holder, Wells, Sanchez
Comments: Barker and Holder had gated and were team riding and leading comfortably when Holder dropped it on the outside of bend 2 lap 4.

Heat 07: Fisher, Hall, Glanz, Schramm 51.12; 4-2, 25-17
Line Up: Fisher, Glanz, Schramm, Hall
Comments: Fisher looked quick and was never troubled although Hall not too far behind. Glanz and Schramm had a good battle for third though. Schramm led for 3 laps but Glanz pushed up the inside on bends 1&2 on the final lap to steal third. Schramm tried to cut it back but over locked it.
Sponsored by Merlin
Heat 08: Holder, Skidmore, Haines, Ksiezak 52.18; 3-3, 28-20
Line Up: Holder, Ksiezak, Skidmore, Haines
Comments: Holder rode 4 solid laps but was never put under any pressure by the Tigers pair. Ksiezak was close to Haines but never really tried to make a move of any sort.

Heat 09: Gathercole, Sanchez, Wells, Kurtz 51.00; 3-3, 31-23
Line Up: Gathercole, Kurtz, Wells, Sanchez
Comments: Good race that! Devils on a 5-1 from the tapes with Sanchez close by. Gathercole then took Sanchez out to the burger van on bend 2 but Emiliano kept it wound on to fly around Kurtz down the back straight of the opening lap into bend 3. He then set after Gathercole but Cory had built up a decent enough lead. Meanwhile Wells chased hard after Kurtz and got his wheels in line early exiting bend 4 lap 3 to pass Kurtz as they entered the final lap. Todd rode a good race there so it shows how well the Tigers pair went! Sanchez looking much better than his earlier showings.

Heat 10: Barker, Holder, Hall, Sanchez(Ret) 52.67; 5-1, 36-24

Heat 13: Barker, Fisher, Wells, Franc 51.97; 5-1, 47-34
Line Up: Barker, Fisher, Franc, Wells
Comments: Devils pair made the Tigers pair look very ordinary after the first turn after Barker pushed Franc out to the fence on turn 2 allowing Fisher through for second, they won easily after that. Barker waving to the crowd on the last lap!

Heat 14: Kurtz, Sanchez, Ksiezak, Hall 52.90; 4-2, 51-36
Line Up: Kurtz,Glanz Ksiezak, Hall, Haines Sanchez
Comments: Ksiezak replaces Glanz for Plymouth and Sanchez replaces Haines for Sheffield. Ksiezak gated with Kurtz. Kurtz then off and gone whilst Ksiezak held a hard chasing Sanchez up for 2 laps but couldn't keep him back any longer. Sanchez closed up a bit on Kurtz by the end and Hall was close to Ksiezak but no further passing.

Heat 15: Barker, Franc, Fisher, Wells 52.09; 4-2, 55-38
Line-up: Barker, Fisher, Wells, Franc
Comments: Plymouth off 1&3. Pepe appeared to jump the start but good job he did as it produced a brilliant race. Barker wound it on and exiting bend 4 lap 2 he scraped the fence to get through the smallest of gaps crossing the start / finish line to pass Pepe for the lead. He then seemed to carry far too much speed into turn one but just held on. By the end Fisher had closed on Franc but he couldn't get past. Big respect to the Tigers fans who travelled in their numbers tonight, they were a credit to their side!
