Comments:
Ht 1: From the gate
Ht 2: Tigers pair well clear, IOW pair racing each other but miles back.
Ht 3: Dicken passed Stojanowski bend 2 lap 1. Stojanowski all over Dicken but couldn't find a way through.
Ht 4: Doyle fell lap 3 when 3rd and retired. Paulco says the locals are getting excited!
Ht 5: Islanders flew from the gate, Kauko tried but could'nt find a way past. Paulco says the locals are now a little bit subdued
Ht 6: Tigers gated but Doyle passed Mcallan on the back straight of lap 1.
Ht 7: Tigers gated but Ksiezak locked up badly on bend 2 which just about finished his race.
Ht 8: Ksiezak replaces Mcallan.
Ht 8: Tigers on a 5-1 when Cockle drifted wide on bend 3 of lap 1 and wiped out Ksiezak. Both riders now up and walking back to pits. Cockle excluded from the re-run.
There will now be a bit of a delay while the doctor checks out James Cockle. Paulco is going to make the best of it by heading off to the bar .
Ht 8: Ksiezak and Bunyan kneck and kneck into the 1st turn but Ksiezak rode a hard bend to lead before Bunyan had EF on back straight lap 1.
Ht 9: Kauko gated but drifted wide and clipped the 2nd bend fence relegating him to last. He repassed Johnson turns 3+4 of bend 1.
Ht 10: Mcallan was lying 3rd but locked up trying to go under Morton on bend 1 of lap 2. Paulco says Glasgow have thrown away to many daft points.
Ht 11: Fantastic piece of team riding from Parker. Holder tried to go between them on turns 3+4 of lap 1, Paulco doesn't know how they all stopped on.
Ht 12: Ksiezak replaces Dicken. Morton takes a T/R.
Ht 12: Ksiezak and Morton gated but Ksiezak took him out to the fence allowing Cockle through on the inside. Morton squared up to Ksiezak in the pits.
Ht 13: Holder takes T/R
Ht 13: Tigers gated but Holder managed to peg them both back. Fantastic speedway says Paulco.
Ht 14: Bunyan replaces Simmons as a Tac sub going off 15m.
Ht 14: Tigers 5-1 all the way until Bunyan passed Ksiezak on bend 4 of lap 4!
Ht 15: Line up- Bird Parker Holder Doyle
Glasgow win toss and take 1 +3
Ht 15: Glasgow gated again but Holder edged ahead on the back straight as Doyle passed Bird. Parker tried everything but couldn't get past Holder.
Congratulations to the Isle of Wight, who now go on to meet Sheffield in the semi final.
Islanders got a standing ovation as they went round on the tractor at the end of the meeting.
