Comments: Barker made the gate, Bunyan passed him lap 1 bend 4 with a nice cutback move. Barker and Allen struggled a bit first few laps. Allen caught Barker last lap but couldn't get passed last bend even though Barker went wide.

Comments: Lambert got stuck on the outside bend 1 and 2 and Ellis came out infront and picked up going into turn 3 and went wide and slid off. Got up and pulled off track. Lykke leading and picked up grip bend 1 and 2 lap 2, almost into the fence just holding on. Heeps comfortable lead in the end.

Comments: Risager made the gate and lead for 3 laps, went into the fence bend 4 lap 3. Tungate cutback on Garrity bend 4 lap 1 to pass him. Track looks grippier than they're all used to by the looks of things.

Comments: Gate 1 and 4 again the best. Lanham first into bend 3 and went wide, all 3 got under him coming out of turn 4. Nelson passed both Witches on lap 1 bend 1/2, brilliant move. Heeps went around Lanham bends 3 and 4 on lap 3 too and kept up with Nelson.

Comments: From the gate pretty much, but Barker giving it everything on the outside of Mellgren and tried the inside last lap too but couldn't find a way through. Watering track after every race.

Comments: Ellis under the fence bend 4 lap 3. Lanham from the gate with Allen all over him and almost got past bend 1/2 lap 2 but couldn't make it stick and was about to try again before race stopped. Track grading again haha

Comments: Crash. Bunyan and Heeps collide. Mäkinen lays it down. Bunyan cut back on Heeps bend 2 lap 1 and came together with Heeps. Bunyan excluded. Heeps rode back to pits and Mäkinen walking back. Bunyan is still on track, think he is okay though. Track ambulance on the way out to him. Mäkinen hurt his elbow and is getting attended to. Break now, more track grading. A lot of riders walking the track again now.
Re-run: Ellis in for Mäkinen. Heeps from the gate. Lambert had a serious go at him though, actually passing him lap 2 off bend 2 but didn't get it. Turned into bend 3 and went really wide letting Heeps through again. Lambert so fast down the straights, couldn't turn it properly.

Comments: Heeps in for Ellis. Rye House riders didn't realise Ipswich rider had 2 on the trot and have been at the tapes and stopped their bikes to wait for the 2 minutes. Dont their start ruts for ages now so should make good gates. lol.
Lanham made the gate, Mellgren took a lot to way him up, passed him lap 2 bend 4. Garrity with a nice pass last lap bend 2 to get round Lanham too.

Comments: Heeps in for Ellis. Lambert went around Mellgren lap 1 bend 3 and 4, hunted Tungate and tried a pass round the outside of him going into turn 3 and just as they was about to turn they touched and both went straight for the fence and tried jumping off their bikes. Lambert excluded.
Tungate walking back, Garrity walked Lamberts bike back to pits, Tungates bikes got taken back by a truck, Ambulance on track for Lambert now

Comments: Heeps and Risager with perfect team riding for 3 and half laps and Heeps made a little mistake with Garrity trying to go through middle of them Garrity and Heeps fell. It was a racing incident apprantley and if Garrity had got up and passed Heeps then he would of got the point.

2.48pm: Sun is out, lovely day tbh. Still a bit chilly but warmest speedway meeting Stephen has been to this year so far.
3.20pm: Mäkinen has made his own way to hospital after understanding Bunyan needs an ambulance more than he does.
