Comments: Race stopped. Rebels on an easy 5-1 when Ellis feel at the back and stayed down. Race awarded. Ellis up and ok.

Heat 03: Risager, Newman, Tungate, Grajczonek (Fell); 59.72 (2-4) 12-6
Line Up: Grajczonek, Newman, Tungate, Risager
Comments: Tungate led from the tapes. Newman passed him up inside of 1st turn. Grajczonek then moves into 2nd down backstraight but appeared to clip Newman's back wheel on pits bend and fell. It messes Newman up a bit and Risager takes advantage to move into the lead. Grajczonek gets up and clears the track, so race can continue. Newman chases down Risager. and just fails to get him on the line.

Lanham has a hand injury, which is being looked at by a paramedic, but it has been announced that he is ok to continue!

Comments: Race stopped. Morris and Lanham down on 1st bend, called as unsatisfactory start. Morris up and ok. Lanham also up and walking back to the pits after initially being attended to by paramedics. All 4 back for re run.
Re run: Lightning start by Nielsen, but poor one by Morris, who is stone last at 1st bend. But he is past Heeps by bend 3 lap 1 and Lanham on backstraight lap 2. Easy for Rebel pair after that.

Newman was fending off Lanham who comes storming up inside of Newman into 3rd bend of last lap. Newman goes flying into the fence, Lanham excluded and race awarded. Newman up and walking back to the pits.

Comments: Barker finally comes to the party. Morris held initial lead but Barker passes him backstraight lap 1, Morris fights back but Barker holds him off to go on for a comfortable win. Perry passed Makinen end of lap 1 for 3rd.

Comments: Tungate T/R.
Cracking race. Grajczonek and Tungate swapping places for the lead for fun before Grajczonek finally got a decisive advantage on pits bend lap 3. Meanwhile Heeps and Nielsen were doing the same for 3rd. On line it looked as if Heeps had passed Tungate for 2nd, but Statman reckons the ref was feeling sorry for Ipswich so gave Tungate 2nd!

Comments: Race stopped. Unsatisfactory start, tapes went up, but no green light cane on. All 4 back. Barker now having 'words' with start marshall (no idea why though), statman doesn't think they will be swapping addresses for christmas cards!
Re run: Doyle heads Barker into 1st bend. Morris last from taoes but by the time they his backstraight Morris is upto 2nd. Ipswich pair never close after that.
