Comments: Kings on a 5-1 going into the first bend but Shanes worked his way past Freemantle on bend 2 lap 2 but couldn't catch Harris. Andrews a bit all over the place.

Heat 03: Compton, Reade, Morley, Bates 56.53; 2-4, 6-12
Line Up: Reade, Bates, Morley, Compton
Comments: Kings shot out the gate while Bates fell and remounted on bend 1. Reade chased down Morley and the two of them had a good tussle. Reade passed Morley on bend 2 lap 2 only to be re-passed on bend 4 of the same lap. Reade wound it on to re-pass Morley and grab second.

Comments: Webster gated but Harris went straight around him on bends 3&4 of lap 1 to lead and looked very good. Webster then over cooked it on bend 1 lap 2 and fell. Mason did well to lay it down. Both riders up and okay but Webster excluded from the re-run. Re-run:

Comments: Stopped! Shanes fell bend 3 lap 1 with the Kings on a 5-1. Up and ok but excluded. Re-run: Kent pair gated but Smart got round Compton on bend 2 lap 2. He then pressed Morley and nipped up the inside of him on the final lap only to pul a 180 and fall. He did remount to finish but gifted the Kings the 5-1.

Comments: Harris replaces Chessell for the Kings. Harris chain snapped on his practice start and borrows a bike sadly for him he seemed to struggle. Stoneman powered around everyone on the first and second bend to lead and that was that. Andrews looked better in this one.

Comments: Stopped! Shanes hit the back of Freemantle on bend 1 lap 2 sending both riders down. Both up and okay but Shanes excluded. Re-run: Freemantle lifted half way round bend 1, he straightened up and hit the air fence at full speed. He hit it so hard that he bounced off the air fence and flew straight over it and landed behind the supporters! It looked horrible but he's somehow up and walked back to the pits. Craneman thinks when the adrenalin wears off he'll be in a fair bit of pain. He says that would have been much worse if the air fence hadn't been installed. Freemantle is excluded and there will be two riders only. Re-runx2: Uneventful easy for Compton, Bates fell and re-mounted on bend 3 lap 3.

Smaller crowd than a normal PL meeting, the bends looking a bit sparse. Track looking superb and the work done over the Winter has paid dividends!
