Mellgren having bike problems. Now on his second machine
Stunning ride from Worrall. Gets a big elbow into 1st bend and is stone last, but almost passes both Rockets inside bend 3. Boxall just holds on to the lead, but a lap later Worrall takes the lead. Wright almost gets third on the run in to the line

Jakobsen from the tapes, but Kurtz breezes past him down the back straight. Kurtz then gets it horribly wrong on bend 2 lap 2 & drops to the back, but is soon back chasing. Passes Edberg as they start the last lap and almost got Jakobsen on the run in to the line... Compton retired soon after the start
