Comments: New Track Record beats Leigh Adams' 56.08 set in 2007....Cook just got nose to front in 1st turn & though Kurtz never far away in 2nd there was only ever 1 winner of this race.

Comments: Starke from tapes, Stichauer round outside of bend 2 to follow through into 2nd, easy after that. Morley did Branford few favours & Branford pulled up on last lap when at back.

Worrall from tapes, Wright kindly showed Riss where clubhouse was situated as they went into 1st bend, close between Masters & Wright for first lap or so before Masters got upper hand.

Re-Run: Masters just got better of Starke into 1st turn, Starke gave him hard time for opening lap or so before Masters pulled away . Grajczonek at back initially, took him best part of lap & half to get past Branford for 3rd.

Comments: Monarchs pair lightening out of gate, but Worrall passed Sedgmen before end of opening lap...Cook so far in front he could have stopped ordered food at the clubhouse and eaten it & still carried on to win.

Comments: Cracking race,Masters led from tapes, Kurtz all over him & finally passes at end of 3rd lap but Masters passes him back 1st turn last lap, Kurtz then back on Masters case and just pips him for the win on run to line.

Comments: Sedgmen takes the rider replacement ride. Stichauer replaces Starke.
Race stopped, Sedgmen appeared to jump but only penalized himself as Somerset were heading into 1st bend on a 5-1 when red lights came on...all 4 back.
Re-Run: Sedgmen from tapes but Grajczonek passes on outside round 3/4 bend on opening lap to take lead & go on for easy win.

Comments: Starke replaces Stichauer.
Monarchs pair from gate but Jensen round outside of them both on opening hand to take lead. Starke was squeezed out going into 1st bend & Edinburgh duo tried to team ride him out but Starke got round Branford off pits bend lap 3 & just failed to get Sedgmen by the finish.

Comments: Rebels pair from gate, Masters gets it all wrong trying to pass them up inside on 1st turn & nearly wipes them out, but it effectively ended any chance Masters had of challenging rebel pair, easy as you like 5-1 from there.

Re-Run: Starke slower out of gate than I am out of bed in the morning & never looked remotely like getting close to making a challenge.
