Comments: Scunthorpe gate on a 5-1 but Cook nips past Douglas into 2nd bend lap 1. Douglas then hits unexpected grip out of bend 2 lap 2 and takes Cook's front wheel away halfway down the back straight and Cook falls. Cook up and walking back to the pits. Douglas excluded.
Re-run: Wilkinson tapes to flag victory. Cook never got close enough to make a challenge.

Comments: Morris leads from the tapes with Palm Toft 2nd, Bailey up the inside of Stokes entering bend 3 lap 1. Palm Toft then gets up the inside of Morris as Morris he hits the same part of the track that Douglas did in heat 1. Morris does well to stay on the bike and keep 2nd.

Comments: Stopped. Confusion as the yellow exclusion light comes on at the same time as the green light. It was enough to put Grondal off as he doesn't move as the tapes go up and the other three race away. Referee Barbara Horley leaves it til mid bend 3 to put the red lights on and calls a re-run with all four riders.
Re-run: Red lights on for a second time as Palm Toft jumps the start. Re-run with all 4.
Re-run x2: Cook gates and gone. Grondal is last away from the tapes. Big elbows from Palm Toft as Grondal goes around him entering bend 1 lap 2. He then sets after Auty but just misses out. Another lap and he would have caught Auty, good ride by Grondal.

Comments: Josh Bailey takes the R/R for Scunthorpe. Ostergaard leads from the tapes and is never troubled. No action in this race until Kerr packs up bend 3 lap 3 to gift the Panthers a 5-1 to draw the match level.

Then Wilkinson completes the trio of passes on Morris as he dives up the inside bend 1 lap 4 to give the lead back to the Scorpions.

Comments: Lewis Kerr takes the R/R for Scunthorpe. Kerr falls foul of the no riding on centre green. His bike develops a problem whilst at the tapes so he races back to the pits and re-appears on Carl Wilkinson's bike and makes his way to the tapes the wrong way round the track and goes round the tape post on the inside. He goes off 15 metres in the re-run.
Re-run: Brilliant race. NBJ leads for 2 laps but MPT goes up the inside bend 2 lap 3 but NBJ back round the outside bend 3. MPT then repasses again up the inside bend 2 lap 4 to take the win.

Comments: Peterborough off 1 and 3. The crowd are very tense. What a race! Ostergaard gates and leads with Auty 2nd. Cook behind winding on in the deep dirt but he can't get past Auty who rides mid track then nips up the inside of Ostergaard who was trying to slow the race down. Ostergaard gets back past on the inside bend 2 lap 4. Ostergaard clamps Auty on the inside bend 3 lap 4 as Cook flies round the outside on the run to the line. Auty cuts from inside to out and somehow gets into the smallest gap between Ostergaard and Cook. Brilliant race.
