Line Up: Williamson, Shuttleworth, Hopwood, Widman
Comments: Williamson from the gate. A super race between Hopwood and Shuttleworth. Hopwood saw every attempt to pass blocked but he gave it big handfuls on the outside of bends 1 & 2 lap 4 to make the pass and to block Shuttleworth coming back up the inside on bends 3 & 4 lap 4.

Re-Run: Cupitt with a rocket off gate 4 and he's untroubled. Woolley came under Stoneman on bend 3 lap 1, picks up too much grip and skates across the corner. It was amazing how they both stayed on and Woolley was in second after that, but Stoneman didn't panic and reeled him in. He went wide on bend 1 & 2 lap 4 to pull level down the backstraight. They were neck and neck going into the final bends but Stoneman held his nerve to get round Woolley coming off bend 4. A great race!
