Creeping at the start should see the race stopped.
Anticipating it and getting it right should not see the race stopped. After all, anticipate it and get it wrong, you're going through the tapes.

Bring the riders to the tapes and prevent them from rolling backwards, if they anticipate the start then all well and good, if they touch the tapes then they are excluded.

Rolling is chancing your arm so no movement allowed anticipating the start is the stupidest rule ever how can you tell the difference between the perfect start and that stupid rule about anticipation plus it is subject to different interpretations

As long as tapes are not touched rolling should be allowed.

Surely in this day and age you should have technology that can eliminate the need for a referee to make the call. In Formula One they start on lights and there rarely is a false start. Not sure how to achieve it, but a means of preventing a roll backwards should be sufficient (like starting blocks in a foot race), and anticipation is fine.

IF you make the gate by any means then all is fine. If you touch the tapes then 15 yards back. Ivan would never have won a race if they stopped the creeping in his day
This action by the ref again makes the sport a laughing stock.

No change! Sorry. Riders need to keep still and let the clutch out in REACTION to the tapes / magnets being released.

If you gate clean by anticipation without rolling fine, get it wrong and it's 15 metres
