As much as playoffs are North American style, I didn't like them at first BUT and it is a big one, it gives some Promoters, whose teams have qualified some much needed income. And it seems as it the majority of fans like it since the crowds are pretty good!

Play-offs are an iniquitous way of extracting extra revenue from long-suffering supporters, and unfairly, and dishonestly, giving the possibility of a totally false "League Champion" club.
A league is played over the same number number of home and away fixtures for ALL its constituent teams, and the CHAMPIONS are the team accruing the highest points total after every fixture has been fulfilled; NOT after a spurious, phony, end-of-season tournament.
The National League showed, in 2015, the CORRECT way that league Championships should be decided; with the added bonus of a TOTALLY SEPARATE Gold Cup competition for the top four clubs. This ensured that teams throughout the League had something to strive for, therefore keeping interest going right up to the end, with clubs battling to prolong their season, and for the chance to go for another trophy.
Simple, sensible system, that offers a FAIR and HONEST outcome and so benefits every every member of the league.
So yes, most certainly, unequivocally, and irrevocably; scrap the play-offs.

Scrap them if you finish top of the table your the champions. Plus they are all scrabbling about signing riders for the play offs , so wrong I think

The tables could be close enough and all dependant upon last few meetings for top of the league champions...you don't see football leagues doing this!!!

Tricky one this!! I feel the league winners should be that but play offs keep the league interesting right to the end. For instance the PL would've been over weeks ago!! I think if you're going to have play offs a conference system such as they use in Baseball or NFL would be a better option . Ice Hockey in this country has a league champion (which is the main event)and then the play offs. Unfortunately they are looked at as second class, which has happened when speedway has tried the same. Most of the players who are N American don't understand that mentality and want the play offs as the decider!!

Designed for TV revenue? Exciting if you are in them, and win them, frustrating if you are not, especially (I imagine) if you finished top of the league. I'd prefer the champions to be the team that finishes top of the league, and then run a knock-out cup tournament at the end of the season with set dates and a 'bad weather' proviso to avoid it dragging on.

Play-offs are an Americanism but one I like. Keep, please, but keep them the same for all three leagues.

Perhaps they should do something similar to Rugby League, which seems to work quite well:
Top of the league gets the 'league leaders shield
Then have the play-offs to decide the winners of the Grand Final
