Comments: Sissis takes the rider replacement ride. Wells from the gate and Tungate never really got close enough to put in a challenge. Allen slow away from the tapes and paid the price for it.

Comments: Stopped. Unsatisfactory start. All 4 back. Sissis warned to stay still.
Re-Run: Sissis from the tapes but Branford gets the better of him going into the first bend, Shanes at the back but never gives up and just nicks third on the line from Greaves.

Re-Run: Wright lead into the first bend but Wells led coming out of it. Took Starke two laps to get pass Sissis who then nearly binned it on lap 3.

Comments: Howarth takes the rider replacement ride. Sissis replaces Greaves. Tigers pair from the gate, Allen gets under Sissis into the first bend lap 2 to move into second, with Howarth away in the distance, Allen tries to slow up Sissis up to get Shanes through into third but to no avail.

Wright then comes back at Howarth and passes for the lead going into bend 3, Starke then all over Howarth but the Sheffield skipper rides well to hold him off.

Comments: Tungate from the tapes and he's away in the distance, Allen slow away from the tapes but others have left a massive gap on the inside going into the first bend which he takes to move into second place.

Comments: Sissis takes the rider replacement ride. Stopped. Massive jump by Wells.
Re-Run: Green light failed and the tapes went up! So another re-run.
Re-Runx2: Crazy race! Wells from the tapes and moved Grajczonek out wide which impeded Branford. Grajczonek quickly past Wells and Branford passes Sissis for third. Then going down the home straight at the end of lap 2 Wells nearly loops it, somehow he stays on and Branford misses him, Branford moves through into second but Wells recovers to get second place back as they start the last lap.

Comments: Looked to Statman as if Robson got away with a flyer (but Statman says he would say that!) Wright made up lots of ground on Robson and got up level with him coming off the second bend last lap but Robson had the veteran run into the final bend and he made that count to just hold Wright off.
