Some info, WORLD-SPEEDWAY ON GRANLY SPEEDWAY ARENA The international motor union FIM and the Danish Motor Union DMU has chosen Esbjerg Motorsport hosting the FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship Qualifying Round 1. The international race to be held Saturday, May 6th at Granly Speedway Arena, which is part of Korskro Motorsport Center just outside Esbjerg. Apart from the Danish Grand Prix in Horsens on June 24th, the race in Esbjerg is the biggest international speedwayrace on Danish soil in 2017. 16 speedway riders from almost as many contries have qualified natonally before the meeting on Danish soil, be out in a fierce duel of slag for re-gualification in German Olching or Italian Terenzano before the crucial final for only three important seats in the Grand Prix series in 2018, settled in Russian Togliatti in August.
