Comments: Crowd asked to take 10 steps back while the track is widened even further. Tigers away on an easy 5-1. Barker comes from nowhere last pap and dives inside Kurtz at 400mph and Kurtz goes down hard. Race wasn't stopped. No idea if there was contact or not. Fence repairs now for about 55 minutes!!!!! Kurtz was straight up and ok. A few polite words being exchanged in the pits and between fans

Comments: Garrity takes the tactical ride, this is going to be lethal. Garrity flew out the gate. Think Branford forgot to turn the fuel tap on as he slowed up on bend 2 then got going again. Howarth steamed inside Garrity bend 3 lap 1 and they remained side by side until a lap later when Garrity closed the door.

Comments: Redcar choose gates 1&3. Cracker to finish. Garrity hugged the inside to take the lead exiting bend 2. Barker all over Bjerre. Howarth tried hard, but fair under Garrity bend 3 lap 1 and rode him wide, while leaving room, which Garrity used well to re-take the lead off bend 4. Garrity then pulled away. Barker kept at it and hugged the inside on bends 3&4 lap 3 to set up and hard inside dive bend 1 lap 4 and moved Bjerre out the way. Absolutely top drawer- and much better than watching 2 riders tootle round!
