Teams confirmed.
Weather: Dry but getting chilly with a cold breeze. There have been showers on and off day but nothing too bad.
Updaters note: Would love to know who plays the music at Foxhall, its crap.
Heat 01: Ippo gated to a 5-1 but Karlsson got past Doolan at end of lap 1, Karlsson then pressured but could not get past Jansson.
Heat 02: Allen fell and re-mounted on 1st bend.
Heat 03: Kroner got past everyone on 2nd bend and then managed to hold off Nicholls until the start of the last lap when Nicholls finally got past, was still tight on the line between them.
Heat 04: Stopped unsatisfactory start, Hamill anticipated and got a flyer (All 4 back).
Heat 04: Re-run: Bloody brilliant ride by Rempala, went around Wolves pair on 2nd bend to take 2nd. Very very close on the line between Howe and Rempala with Rempala getting the decision.
Heat 05: Good ride by Bees pair. Karlsson tried everything but could not get past.
Heat 06: Starting to spit with rain.
Weather update: Now its Raining
Heat 07: Another good heat, Titanic battle for minor places between Rempala and the Wolves pair, with Rempala doing an awesome outside pass on 2nd lap 2nd bend, .
Weather update: It's now peeing it down.
Heat 08: Another good battle for 2nd, Hamills engine went on lap 2. Still peeing it down.
LMAO, Johnston came out with an umbrella up and rode to the tapes with it.
No Interval tonight due to the Weather.
Rain seems to be easing now.
Ok maybe not:: Getting heavy once more.
Heat 10: And rain has eased off once more.
Sue is bloody Freezing (Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha)
Heat 11: Good team riding by Cov pair. And its bloody raining again!!!!!
Heat 12: All 3 together over start/ finish line at end of lap 1, but another display of team riding by Cov pair, Miskowiak did challenge late on when they had stopped team riding but could not get past.
Heat 13: From gate. Still peeing it down but Sue has her handy umbrella holder as she bought her eldest son tonight.
Heat 14: Wolves pair by a huge margin.
Oh and the rain has stopped, for how long though?
Heat 15: Brilliant pass by both Ippo riders coming up to 3rd bend 1st lap, with Smolinski the meat in the Ippo Sandwich.
Heat 16: From Gate and by a good distance.
I bet Ippo fans are wondering why they cant put this sorta performance up in the League.
Heat 17: Good riding by Nicholls to slow it at the front to allow Billy through and then team ride him home. Billy allowed Scott through to take the win and the full max.
Heat 18: Good heat. Terrific battle on lap 1 between Topinka, Rempala and Johnno, with Rempala passing Johnno at end of lap 1. So close between Topinka and Rempala for the next 3 laps, but Topinka just had the edge.
Wow Ippo win
Cheers to Sue for the results, and thanks for all looking in . Good luck to both Coventry and Swindon on Monday. And good luck to Kings Lynn, Sheffield, Rye House, IOW and the Conference play off teams.. And hopefully see ya all in 2008.
Have a great Xmas and Happy New year.
