Comments: Branford replaces Mellish. Branford away like a rocket. Kurtz all over Wilson-Dean after rounding Bacon bend 3 lap 1. Wilson-Dean cut back inside Branford bend 2 lap 2. Kurtz took up the chase on lap 3 but the Kiwi had flown.

Re-Run: Holder dropped the clutch quicker than the other three and got away with it. Outrageous!!!!!! He was straight out to the dirt and was back in the pits with his feet up before the others had reached lap 3. Bjerre inside Hall exiting bend 2 lap 1.

Comments: Kurtz gated, Grajczonek didn't. Grajczonek round Starke back straight lap 1, then under Ostergaard exiting bend 4 lap 1. At this point Ostergaard slowed slightly, and dropped to the back. Grajczonek hard under Kurtz bend 3 lap 2 and left him to fend off some insane pressure from Starke that went right to the line.
