Comments:
Heat 01: Bachelor gates with Pedersen second but he was soon passed by Dryml and Pedersen and then Andersen. Pedersen then took Dryml. Andersen went in front of Dryml also.
Heat 02: Doyle gated well and got over King but the referee stopped the race because Doyle made a fantastic gate. The referee said Doyle jumped the start but it was simply a fantastic gate. All four back.
Restart: King gates. Hall then passes Swist for third.
Heat 03: Crump gates but iversen takes him out of bend two. Then Swiderski took Crump out of bend four. Crump made no impression on the Peterborough riders.
Heat 04: Swist gates but Bjerre soon takes the lead. Hall at the back chasing Swist.
Heat 05: Iversen almost had both wheels over the whiteline round the first two bends. Pedersen takes the lead with Bachelor second. Iversen chased to no avail.
Heat 06: Andersen Andersen and Boyce gate but Doyle and Dryml pass them both. Dryml passed Doyle and Andersen took Doyle on the line.
Heat 07: Bjerre gates and tries to take Crump wide but Crump gets round the outside round the second bend. King almost had a race with Kennett but he left Kennett well behind after a lap.
Heat 08: King is a reserve replacement for Hall.
King gates first but both Poole riders come round him but Bachelor gets past Dryml who then has engine failure (Dropped chain) whilst third.
Heat 09: Boyce gates first but Doyle passes round the outside of the second bend. Iversen tried up the inside of Boyce but could not pass.
Heat 10: Andersen off of three and Crump is off of four. Andersen gates with Dryml second. Crump gets past Dryml at the end of lap one. Crump then has ef at the start of the last lap gifting Peterborough a 5-1. Andersen and Crump return to the pits arm in arm as Andersen gives Crump a tow.
Interval.
Heat 11: Pedersen gates and then Bachelor comes up the inside of Bjerre for second but Bjerre comes back round the ouside of the fourth bend.
Heat 12: Iversen got a flyer. The referee put the red lights on and then Hall decided to slide off into the airfence. Hall will never live that down. All four back. Idid not think there was a problem with iversen's start.
Restart: Iversen gates well again. The Poole pair came under Iversen but Crump takes his front wheel with his dirt deflector down the backstraight and Iversen came down. The ambulance is on the track and has taken him away with a twisted knee. Hall came off again after having contact with Iversen's bike. Crump should be excluded. Iversen excluded.
2nd Rerun: Poole riders both gate in the lead. Hall was all over Doyle but fell round the outside. Hall is now down and looks injured. Race stopped and awarded.
Heat 13: Andersen gates well with Pedersen second but Bjerre takes Pedersen on the backstraight. Pedersen was all over Bjerre but he was just not good enough.
Heat 14: Kennett gets out of the gate first but King takes him on the backstraight. Swiderski over the Poole pair like a rash and went from fourth to second between the last bend and the line.
Heat 15: Crump gates but Pedersen goes round the outside. Crump almost fenced Andersen on bend four. Bjerre almost got Crump up the inside of bend two of the last lap.
Does anybody go to Peterborough? It looks like there is about two hundred fans in the ground.
Iversen is back in the pits and is doing as well as can be expected. Same for Hall.
Thank you for joining me tonight. I hope that you have enbjoyed the updates.
Goodnight and God Bless,
Judy
