Comments:
Line-ups are a complete and utter total guess!
Sheffield win the toss, taking 1 & 3.
Referee us Masterbates.
Mungo says: "Fair few Sheff fans in attendance, but a pretty average crowd"
That's the first time I've heard the Mildenhall fans described as pretty
Comments:
Heat 01: Mildenhall were on a 5-1 from the gate, but Jirout went from second to last on the first lap.
Heat 02: From the gate. Sheffield riders looked like they were sleeping at the start! Birko retired at the start of lap 2 when well at the back.
Heat 03: Untidy start with Legault and Cockle falling. All4back.
Heat 03: Smith f,rm on lap 1 third bend when last and gave up soon after that.
Heat 04: Parsons is the r/r.
Heat 04: Madsen passed Birkinshaw on lap 1. Birkinshaw challenged Madsen for most of the race, but lost ground on the last lap.
Heat 05: AsHworth fell, taken out by his own team mate. All4back.
JUST STARTED RAINING
Heat 05: Parsons does a 360 on third bend and Smith couldn't avoid him. Both seem ok, but Parsons excluded from the re-run. Ashworth was leading.
Heat 05: Very tricky on first lap, but settled down after that.
Heat 06: Ashworth is the r/r.
Heat 06: Ashworth fell while leading comfortably.
Heat 07: Cockle was with Compton on the first bend, but went too wide on the second.
Mungo is cold!!
Heat 08: Great pass by Parsons over Tacey on second lap.
Heat 09: Hopwood is the r/r???
Heat 09: Legault fell and remounted on the second bend while on a 5-1.
********************INTERVAL************************
Heat 10: Cockle held second briefly, but was passed by Jirout at the end of the first lap.
Heat 11: Two good races in one until Madsen slowed on lap three when last and Ashworth lost ground.
Heat 12: east peasy for Compton. Cooper got very close to Thompson a few times.
Heat 13: Birkinshaw is the r/r
Heat 13: Heavy fall for Birkinshaw on the second bend. Seems ok, but is excluded from the re-run.
Heat 13: From the gate, but Madsen was never far behind.
Hard to be far behind on that little track (updaters comment).
Heat 14: As expected an easy heat win for the home side. Neither Sheffield rider was in it.
Heat 15 line up:
Tacey...King......Ashworth...Compton
Heat 15: Sheffield pair never troubled.
Thanks to Mr Mungo for the texts and to all of you for watching.
G'nite
