Glasgow win the toss and take gates 2 & 4.
Heat 01: C Cook, Keleher, Nicol, King 4-2
Line Up: C Cook, Nicol,Schlein King, Keleher
Comments: Race stopped, the tapes didn't go up on the outside so we'll need to go again.
Rerun: Nicol makes the gate and hits bend 1 first. On the outside, Schlein and Cook come together going into bend 1 and they both come off. Race stopped. Race will be rerun with 4 riders. Cook back up and on his way back to the pits. Medics out to attend to Schlein at the moment. The ambulance is now out and Rory is complaining of pain in his leg. It's looking like there will be a fairly lengthy delay before racing resumes. Rory is going to be taken to hospital.
Rerun x2: King replaces Schlein as an injury rider replacement. Cook with the best gate to take the lead. The Pirates drift wide on the opening bends and Nicol slips past King. Cook romps away for an easy win. Nicol all over Keleher for the 4 laps, trying to pass inside and out without any success. King never far away from Nicol.

Heat 02: Jensen, B Cook, Hume, Smith 3-3 (7-5)
Line Up: Jensen, Smith, B Cook, Hume
Comments: Jensen electric from the gate and leads the whole way. Cook kept him honest for a couple of laps before dropping back. The rising stars were a fair away adrift of Cook, with Hume comfortable in third throughout.

Heat 03: Worrall, Ostergaard, Sedgmen, Nielsen 3-3 (10-8)
Line Up: Ostergaard, Sedgmen, Worrall, Nielsen
Comments: Worrall makes the best gate and leads off of bend 1. The Tigers edge out Nielsen on the opening bends. Worrall pulls further clear as the races on and wins by a distance. Nielsen never offered much threat to the Tigers pair. Nielsen given a warning by the referee after the race for moving at the start.

Heat 04: King, Smith, Hume, Wells 2-4 (12-12)
Line Up: Wells, Smith, King, Hume
Comments: The reserves give the heat leaders a gating lesson, Smith leads from Hume off of bend 2 with King third. King passes Hume at the end of the first lap. He then sets off after Smith and tries to round him on bends 3 & 4 lap 2, and bends 1 & 2 lap 3 but Smith holds him off both times. But King then flies down the inside of Smith into bend 3 lap 3. Wells never made any impression on Hume.

Heat 05: Ostergaard, Worrall, Sedgmen, Keleher 4-2 (16-14)
Line Up: Ostergaard, Sedgmen,Schlein Worrall, Keleher
Comments: Worrall replaces King. Ostergaard makes the best gate to take the lead. Sedgmen just manages to squeeze out Worrall on the opening bends and then hold him off on bends 3 & 4 lap 1. Worrall then cuts under Sedgmen bends 1 & 2 lap 2. Worrall quickly closes up to the back of Ostergaard and just fails to catch him on the run to the line.

Line Up: C Cook, Nicol, King, B Cook
Comments: Craig Cook gates, leads the whole way and takes a classy win. All the action is behind him. King and Nicol neck and neck for all of the first lap before King edges ahead and pulls away. Ben Cook closes up to Nicol and gets through on lap 3. Nicol comes back at him off bend 4 lap, but Ben holds on to 3rd.

Line Up: Wells, Jensen, Worrall, Nielsen
Comments: Wells makes the best gate to hit bend 1 ahead, Jensen blasts round the outside of the opening bends to join him up front. Jensen then goes by Wells into the start of lap 2. From there it was plain sailing for the Tigers with Nielsen well adrift.

Line Up: Nicol, Smith, Keleher, Hume
Comments: Fairly even start, all 4 riders arrive at bend 2 pretty much together but the Tigers manage to squeeze the Pirates out. Keleher tries to round Smith on bends 3 & 4 lap 1 but Smith sees off his challenge. Smith then pulls away as the race progresses and it turns into a comfortable 5-1 for the Tigers.

Comments: King like a rocket from the start, Sedgmen tries to sneak up the inside of him off of bend 2 but doesn't manage it. King then clears off to take the win. Ostergaard gets ahead of Cook on bend 3 lap 1. Cook then is all over the Tigers for the remainder of the race but the Tigers just hold him off.

Comments: King replaces Nielsen as a tactical substitute. King makes the best start and leads off of bend 2. Cook totally missed it and was stone last. Cook uses the inside line to great effect on bends 1 & 2 lap 2 to move past Nicol and Worrall in one go. King is well clear at this stage. Cook keeps it tight round the inside and starts to reel King in. Cook gets ahead off of King bend 2 lap 4 to take the lead. Tremendous ride from Cook! At the back, Nicol just manages to fend off Worrall to hold third.

Comments: Cook replaces Schlein. Cook makes the best gate but drifts wide on the opening bends and Jensen comes under him to take the lead. Cook then right with Jensen for the 4 laps, Jensen makes a small mistake bend 2 lap 4 and Cook nearly comes through, but Jensen just holds him off. The front two were well clear of Wells, who in turn was comfortably ahead of Keleher.

Comments: Race stopped. Ostergaard was moving at the start and the red lights come on. Warning to Ostergaard and race to be rerun with all 4 back.
Rerun: Ostergaard makes the gate and gets over the top of Cook to take the lead. The Pirates settle into 2nd and 3rd. Worrall closes on Ostergaard and gets underneath him heading into bend 1 lap 3. Cook is then right with Ostergaard and rockets past him off of bend 2 of lap 4 to take 2nd. Great ride from Cook!

Comments: Ben Cook replaces Schlein. Craig Cook makes the gate from the inside to take the lead and wins with ease. Wells gates well, but King rounds him on the opening bends to take second. Ben Cook closes in on Wells, Wells slows with a puncture and Ben passes him. Wells then retires onto the centre green.

Comments: Nielsen makes the gate but gets caught in the middle of the track on bend 2 and Jensen charges under him while Sedgmen rounds him. The Tigers are then untroubled out front. Jensen looking classy.
