Heat 02: Re Run: Sedgmen, Kemp, Edwards, Bailey (F/Rem); 59.0 (3-3) 6-6
Line Up: Edwards, Kemp, Bailey, Sedgmen
Comments: Stopped. Bailey on the inside a bit twitchy before that and has been warned. All 4 back.
Re run: Glasgow gated on a 5-1, but both Eagles under Bailey off bend 2. Bailey not comfortable at all and slid off on his own bend 1 lap 2, remounted and carried on, but don't think he finished the race.

Heat 03: Wells, Brennan, Kennett, Jensen; 59.2 (3-3) 9-9
Line Up: Kennett, Brennan, Wells, Jensen
Comments: Glasgow gated on a 5-1. Brennan under Jensen bend 4 lap 1. Jensen made a mistake on bend 2 lap 4, which opened the door for Kennett to go under him. Kennett not happy with Jensen after the race, not sure why as was just a tight first bend Steven's think and no contact.

Heat 05: Cook, Brennan, Nicol, Kennett (EF); 58.2 (2-4) 14-16
Line Up: Kennett, Brennan, Cook, Nicol
Comments: Kennett and Cook into the first bend together. Superb chop back to the inside from Cook to get under Kennett off bend 2, who was a bit harsh and slammed the door shut on Kennett proper. Kennett struggling a bit on bend 1 & 2 and made a mistake on lap 2, allowing Brennan through. The looking a 3-3 and Kennett unfortunately packed up back straight lap 4. Didn't smell very good and might need a second machine now!

Heat 06: Re run: Ostergaard, Newman, Lawson, Bailey (f/ex); 57.8 (3-3) 17-19
Line Up: Lawson, Newman, Ostergaard, Bailey
Comments: Stopped. Tight first bend between all 4 oft them. Ostergaard giving Bailey no room and he come down on the outside. Bailey stayed down though knowing Eagles were on a comfy 5-1, so race stopped and he is excluded. Straight up once the lights come on.
Re run: Ostergaard gated and Newman was close for half a lap then Ulrich way clear. He will be thanking Bailey in a minute no doubt. Lawson struggling with visibility I think and coasted round last lap and a half.

Heat 07: Wells, Kerr, Jensen, Edwards; 58.6 (2-4) 19-23

Line Up: Lawson, Newman, Wells, Jensen
Comments: Wells and Lawson gated level. Lawson getting the run round the outside of him off bend 2 at the same time, Newman found some drive off the inside of Wells off bend 2. Comfy 5-1 for the Eagles and Lawson slowed right up to let Newman take the head win on the line.

Interval. Kennett apparently blew a clutch earlier in heat 5.
Heat 11: Nicol, Cook, Edwards, Kerr (EF); 58.3 (1-5) 29-37
Line Up: Kerr, Edwards, Cook, Nicol

Line Up: Lawson, Kerr, Cook, Ostergaard

Sponsored by Speedway Fiction www.speedwayfiction.co.uk
Heat 14: Brennan, Kemp, Sedgmen, Jensen; 58.4 (5-1) 42-42
Line Up: Brennan,Edwards Kemp, Jensen, Sedgmen
Comments: Eagles gated on a 5-1. Kemp a bit out of shape on bend 2, which let Sedgy through but good hard pass from Kemp into bend 3 lap 1 underneath Sedgmen. Comfy 5-1 from then.
Sponsored by Splod
Heat 15: Lawson, Brennan, Ostergaard, Cook; 58.6 (5-1) 47-43
Line-up: Brennan, Lawson, Cook, Ostergaard
Comments: Eagles choose gates 1 and 3.
WOWZERS! Lawson wasn't backing out there. Steamed into the first bend taking Ostergaard very wide on the 2nd bend and Brennan somehow found his way to 2nd. Ostergaard not happy shaking his head riding like a man possessed all over the back of Brennan for the 4 laps, but somehow Tom held on! Shut the door on him a couple of times. Fantastic stuff but Ostergaard won't be a happy bunny in the pits.
