Brummies pair looked to have made the better gate but Aarnio got himself into the lead up the inside of the first bend. Vissing close to Aarnio for 4 laps and was close to taking the win on the line. Kinsley never too far away from Morris in 3rd.

Comments: Brilliant race. Allen made a great start and was looking comfortable out front before running too wide on B4 L2 and clipped the fence allowing Ellis and Palin through. Palin got the better of Ellis initially before Ellis took the lead. Both riders alongside each other on Lap 4 with Ellis just nicking it on the line.
