Really troubling times for the monarchs & will do very well to survive after the season finishes. Cowdenbeath or ingliston is the only places I can see a glimmer of hope. We can’t lose another team/track in British speedway & this year is already looking like the last for a number of clubs sadly.

It is concerning news, I have seen some reports that management have a contingency plan in place, but how accurate the reports are or how viable the contingency plans remains to be seen.
I wish I could feel more positive about the long terms future of speedway but relying mainly on ticket sales & sponsorship for income strikes me as a realty tough business model to make work. BSN and the clubs own live streaming is a good initiative & hope it will make a difference, especially the clubs putting in the effort to set up their own.

I would hope contingency plans are in place, this was expected news, been known for 3 or 4 years now ! Eastbourne, Rye House, Newcastle & Swindon not looking good as things stand, & now Peterborough on the "danger list"

Add on the question mark on Birmingham finances and it really does look like a complete rethink on the speedway business model is needed with input from all levels within the sport, and probably from other spectator sports as well, to see if anything can be learnt from them.
