Comments: Stopped. Very close in the first 2 bends until Bowtell took down Nielsen going down the backstraight. Nielsen went down on his back with an impact. Bowtell excluded. Nielsen up and ok.
Re Run: Nielsen made a great gate and rode superbly to hold off Nicholls to take the win. Nicholls pushed hard throughout the race and nearly got past Nielsen in the last lap, however Nielsen held on to take the win.

Heat 02: Shanes, Morley, Pearson, Coles 4-2 (8-4) 60.78
Line Up: Shanes, Pearson, Morley, Coles
Comments: Great start from Shanes to take the lead with Pearson joining him in 2nd. Morley was close behind for the first 2 laps until Pearson spun round on bend 2 lap 3, which allowed Morley through to take 2nd place. Pearson tried to get back into second but couldn't make up the ground.

Line Up: Sedgmen, Morris, Barker, Palm Toft
Comments: Close out the gate between Barker and Morris with Barker edging into the lead. Sedgmen was 3rd until he went wide bend 2 lap 2, which allowed Palm Toft into 3rd.

Comments: Stopped. All 4 together into bend 1, Morley lost out and went down with his bike landing on top of him. Morley back up, but is complaining of some shoulder pain. Morley excluded.
Re-Run: Andersen made a great start for the lead. Pickering pushed hard for the lead and nearly got it in the last lap however Andersen held on.

Comments: Sedgmen made a great start and held on to take the win. Morris joined Sedgmen in 2nd but Nicholls was pushing and split the Brummies bend 3 lap 1. Nicholls pushed hard behind but couldn't get close enough to pass Sedgmen.

Comments: Stopped. Andersen moved at the start which made Nielsen move. Nielsen took the lead but the race is pulled back. All 4 back.
Re Run: Andersen made a good gate with the Brummies pair closely behind. Nielsen's chain came off at the end of lap 3 and had to push home for the point. Coles packed up bends 3 & 4.
